An Answer To Prayer! NC Mother Found Alive After 5 Days Missing

Our local news reported Amber Pennel from Lenoir NC had been missing for 5 days when a miracle occured on Tuesday night. This 21 year old mother of two was found alive just as it started to rain. After searching everyday, her truck was barely noticeable down a 70 ft ravine where she had been trapped..

Caldwell County NC, EMS Director - Tommy Courtner only saw a slight crushing in the heavy kudzu but called out and Amber raised her hand, then her head.. I cannot imagine how amazing that moment felt.. Elation and thankfulness that she was found alive.. She had broken legs and dehydration.. Thank the Lord, it seems that she is recovering at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

This miracle in NC was reported this morning on Good Morning America and there are videos on MSN about the rescue.   Thank you Lord for your protection !!

We are holding out for little Caylee Anthony here in central Florida; but evidence is pointing to her mother killing her.....

I just heard about this today when I was out showing homes. AMAZING!! One reporter stated that he heard the husband say, "Thank you, Jesus" when they pulled his wife from the car. What a testimony of the power of prayer that this precious woman was found. Thanks for sharing!! GBU!

  • AMEN, prayer does work.. I know the Mgr at the BBQ place she worked and on the MSN videos above - she was shown stating WE prayed for JESUS to shine a light on her and HE DID !! Thank  you Jesus.. Awesome !!  God bless

Hi Cheryl,

So glad I found you, specially in this group!  Indeed this was a true miracle, thanks for sharing it.  If we look closely we can see miracles all around us on a daily basis, some small, others huge.  Speaking of miracles, I'm rejoicing with a friend (Linda).  After being diagnosed with uterine cancer and told that it could not be operated, she shared the news but also her faith and week after week she would claim that her Savior's stripes were not in vain.  Well ... after struggling with disbelief her doctors informed her last week that the cancer was gone, no idea how and where it went, all they knew is that it is gone!  No treatment, no surgery, nothing, only the mighty hand of God!
