Yesterday, Localism expert and recognized Queen of Long Beach , Laurie Manny, was quoted in an Inman news article along with Teresa Boardman of St Paul Real Estate Blog.

The full content of the article can be found on Inman News but was republished here for those without a subscription.

Real estate blogging expert, Mary McKnight, lauded Active Rain for it's meteoric rise to the forefront of social networking in the RE.net.

Laurie Manny's SEO accomplishments are astounding :

1- 8th in organic results for "Long beach, CA real estate"

2- 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th in "Downtown Long Beach Real Estate"

3- 3rd, 4th, 9th, 10th for "Belmont Heights real estate"

These results have materialized in a short 4-6 months since Laurie started writing her rich content about Long Beach.

Teresa Boardman's SEO accomplishments are equally as impressive:

Enter "St. Paul real estate" into Google and see Mrs. Boardman's place as 2nd and third in the organic searc,

Congratulations to Laurie, Teresa, and Mary McKnight for a fine representation of Active Rain in the industry news.

PS:  I inadvertently omitted Pat Kitano in the article.  Pat has been on Active Rain for a long time.  I think of Pat Kitano's Transparent Real Estate Blog as a network itself because it is well written and attracts so many members of RE.net. Pat is a contributor on the Active Rain Real Estate Network.

Thank you Brian and everybody.  That mention in Inman News was quite the surprise for me and my first big mention.  Mary McKnight and RSSpieces.com has done an incredible job on my new blog.  Today it is officially 2 months old.

Yesterday, Rejuvination.com did an article on their blog www.hewnandhammered about my big historic post, it is a very nice piece, which has sent a lot of hits my way.

All of this attention is kind of strange, I still think of myself as a novice at this.  I have only been with Active Rain since late November and only made a feeble attempt at blogging prior to that and knew absolutely nothing about SEO except how to write checks, which I no longer have to write.  Companies were charging me a fortune and not performing, now I pay nothing and get what I need.  This is the power of Active Rain, and the power of linkage, make no mistake about it. (I don't get much sleep though)

Thank you Brian, Everybody else, Thank You Matt, Caleb, Jonathan & Active Rain.

I subscribe to Laurie's blog just to know what the Localism cutting edge is doing.  It's good to see people outside of AR catching on.  Great job Laurie.  I will have to add Teresa to my subscription list.  Sherry

Congratulations to Laurie and Teressa.. Laurie has written some terrific pieces on Long Beach... Her historical homes blog was truly amazing. I'm not surprised she is being singled out.

That's awesome!  Congratulations to Laurie & Teressa.  It amazes me that more people aren't joining this network and that there are several that have joined but not participated.  I am seeing results already and it's only been about 2 weeks.

Continued success to all....,

We had our first case today of somebody tagging their post with The Harper Team and the communites we blog on in the East Bay area. Given that this agent is in southern CA, I assume they are doing so in an attempt to ride our coattails.

I tagged it "Long Beach" because that's Laurie's market, John. I think it makes sense if you laud someone to let the Localism readers see the great work they do.  Perhaps that happened to you?  Let's hope so.

Thanks Brian.  I took almost a year to get there and some times I come up number 1.  I am still on a not so secret mission to own St. Paul.  :)  heck we all have to have goals don't we? :)

Brian...

This is awesome. Someone else told me about the mentions and it is so very nice to see that you brought this into the rain. Very positive stuff my friend. Geez. I can't even find one single thing I can get on you about :)

I'll go romp around the rain and see who I can find to b*t*h at. LOL...
