Chris I think making over your business card is an excellent idea. Good thing you have a resource like his firm in Seattle. But one thing I've found important wiith business cards is not too much of a change ... you want people to relate.
I like our cards, and my photo on there is pretty recent.
I don't know what some agents are thinking though with their old pictures! I saw a case of that just yesterday on someone's property flyer. She doesn't look like that anymore... (I've seen men do the same thing.)
I laugh when I see some cards, I know of a Realtor that uses her 4 year old grandson with her on card, MMMM, yeah, he is 20 now

Dana, I will agree that a consistent look is a good idea, but if you old one is bad/ugly/ineffective then I would change it up. What I would say though, is if you are going to really make your cards over, and really the whole look of what you are going to present to people, it might be great time to send them some snail mail with some new cards announcing it and even using them to re-introduce yourself to clients you may have let fall to the way side.
I am updating mine right now and I think I am going to leave on site blank so I can add personal notes.

I see so many agent's cards that you would never know who they are from the pictures. I just can't imagine why they prefer that. I update my pictures every year.
Just had mine redone. Always good to update every few years. And don't pimp out your kids/grandkids, Dave's comment above was funny.
