First I must explain the difference; a Pop Tart agent jumps up to meet a potential client without getting the important information. Are they pre-qualified, have a job, are looking to buy in this century? A seasoned steak agent knows what to ask on the phone. I do not like it when an agent brings a customer to a listing and they can't even answer my basic questions? I'm thinking fine, waste your time but now you guys are wasting mine. The bottom line is find out if your buyer can finance a Hot Dog before you waste every body's time.

I guess I am a seasoned steak.

I always give them the benefit of the doubt, but before we go look at property that must have talked to a mortgagebroker. Everything else is a waste of their and my time and can cause a lot of frustration.

I was seasoned many years ago.  After being in this business for twenty years, I don't understand how some agents with the same experience are still pop tarts.  Some people are desperate.

DArin...

LOL I can't decide if this is extremely profound or the result of a long night at the pub, but either way, I like it!

Love the analogy! Me seasoned steak.....I always make them call a lender first then I speak to the lender as well to make sure he didn't just crawl out of a cracker jack box & really knows what he's talking about.
