It is coming close to the time to start thinking about what gifts you want to give your past clients for the holidays.  I have given different presents throughout the years.  Here is a list of some ideas for presents, some I have given and some I haven't.

  • Entertainment Book ( I gave this last year since everyone loves saving money )
  • Gift Cards ( Just don't look cheap with the amount )
  • Holiday Welcome Mat for the front door
  • Personalized items (for example: ornaments, door knocker, photo box, etc.)
  • Send them a smoked turkey from Greenberg Turkeys (Mmmmmm, I'm hungry now!)
  • Send them a fruit basket
  • Holiday Party (this is one of my personal favorites so you can schmooze with everyone at the same time.)

Please add to the list!  What have you done that gets a good response?  The key is to keep your name in front of past clients.

Great list.  I think the Entertainment Books are great plus they are only $12 for Realtors.  And I think items that are personalized for the area or state are great like State of Texas Christmas Ornaments or local Junior League Cookbooks.

Personalized coffee mugs are great and you can fill them with goodies too!

I like the personalize mug idea.  Where do you get them done?

Last year I tried to do large desk calendars for some of my clients, closing attorneys, etc.  However, when they arrived the company had printed "Reality", instead of "Realty".  Needless, to say at the last minute I was burning desk calendars and sending cakes from a local bakery.

I love doing the parties.  Everyone has a great time.  They are just so expensive.

I stopped doing gifts. It seems I get as much without as with.

David - I came across a website this weekend and I thought of your post.  I find a company that will personalize chocolate for you.  I think that would be a big hit with chocolate lovers.  http://thechocolatefarm.com/

Linda, chocolate has two problems.  The first is keeping myself from eating it and second is keeping it from melting since it usually isn't that cold here therefore, I would need to eat it before it melts.
