Their one hundred private apartments offer secure interior hallways and attractively furnished common areas. These common areas include a library, a game room, full size chapel, laundry room, full service beauty salon and several conversation nooks throughout the facility.
One of the best parts about this community is its location. Within a few minutes to several restaurants and less than 10 minutes to the hospital. Residents have a choice of unfurnished floor-plan, each offering a kitchennette, refridgerator, an intercom and an emergency call system for their safety. Choose from:
· Studios - range from $1,520 a month to $1,775 a month for the Delux Studio
· One Bedroom - there are three different floor-plans for the 1BR units costing $2,205 to $2,495/mo.
· Two Bedroom/One Bath - $2,750
• Two Bedroom/Two Bath - $2,850
The monthly rent covers all the utilities (except the phone bill), all three meals, cable tv, weekly maid and linen service and scheduled transportation. There is an extra $400 charge if a second person will be occupying the unit.
As to activities, they'll keep you busy! River Oaks has a full time Activities Director who organizes these events. Some of the favorite activities consist of trips to local site-seeing locations like the river, BBQ's at local parks and trips to art exhibits.
