FISHING

• CHOICES CHOICES - YOU SURE DO HAVE CHOICES!!    Fish in one of the four park lakes or the South Fork of the Edisto River for bream, bass and catfish.  (don't forget your SC Fishing License)
  

BOATING

• Private boats are allowed on the South Fork of the Edisto River. River access is available at the state park boat landing.
  
• Canoe Rentals: Canoes are available for rent at the park for $12/day. This includes your life jackets and paddles.
  
  Aiken State Natural Area also boasts a 1.7 mile canoe trail, on which you can enjoy paddling your own canoe or a rental boat.
  
• Boat Rentals: Canoes, kayaks, and non-motorized fishing boats are available for rent year round. Rentals include life jackets and paddles. Fees for rentals are $12/day. Contact the park for more information.
  

THINGS TO DO

• Picnic Area and Shelters: Three picnic shelters are available for family or other group gatherings. Each shelter may be reserved for $25-32/day. If shelters are not reserved, guests may use shelters on a first-come, first-served basis at no charge.
  
  To make a picnic shelter reservation, call toll-free 1-866-345-PARK or make it online by clicking on the Park Reservation button located at the upper right hand corner of this page.
  
  Note: Admission fee is not included in shelter price. Rates listed do not include applicable tax and nonrefundable transaction fee.
