McCain picks Sarah Palin (Miss Congeniality) for Vice President

America's economy needs a woman that understands energy.

I don't pay too much attention, but I did see this!!

I know plenty of Democrat women who wanted Hillary but are not pro choice...kind of awkward huh? This entire election is awkward.

Oopsy Daisy on the "Bridge to Nowhere".......

In a 2006 interview with the Anchorage Daily News during her gubernatorial campaign, Mrs. Palin had a different view of the bridge.

Asked "would you continue state funding for the proposed Knik Arm and Gravina Island bridges?" she replied: "Yes. I would like to see Alaska's infrastructure projects built sooner rather than later. The window is now - while our congressional delegation is in a strong position to assist."

Guess she was for it before she "mislead" the nation that she was against it. Not ready for prime time.

Laura- And just like me, she would be whisked up in Air Force One and make decisions about protecting our country. I know in my heart of hearts that I could do that job. And I know Sarah can too. I know without a doubt that she is capable of making firm and country defense decisions. Not only that she is not afraid to pull the trigger when needed.

Dori- I know plenty of middle class people who own boats that cost over 100,000, what's the difference in a sea plane and a boat. In Alaska, it is a different lifestyle. Her husband is a blue collar worker who works on the slope. He separates the gas from the oil. He is up on that slope for one week on and one week off. He makes very good money doing that job just as all the other employees their do and they get great benefits. She certainly is more like middle class than Obama- in case you did not know, Obama is a multi millionaire. Of course, I don't see any thing wrong with being a millionaire, as that is my goal too.

Hi Stewart. Sara Palin doesn't come close to being qualified. Its sad really because there are other Republican women who would have made a better VP choice.

Stewart - You would think that Palin is Elizabeth Dole by the way the RNC is commenting on her. What really has she done other than accept earmarks by the millions of dollars and flip flopped on a bridge to nowhere and marry a man who once joined a party to succeed from the United States (probably why he was arrested for drunk driving was a conspiracy by us to prevent him from doing so) Maybe if she stops being a pitbull and starts being human she will recognize for herself she isn't qualified.

Stewart:  Mrs. Palin is certainly stirring things up.  But despite the right wing rhetoric, I think it's clear that the Straight Talk Express has gone off the tracks.  They can't attack Obama for not having executive experience for just being a Senator.  That would backfire since McCain is a lifer in the Senate...same as Joe Biden.  They can't talk about inexperience with Obama and still beam with pride at Palin's experience.  It's utterly ridiculous.  McCain had a much better shot with another pick.  And after her speech last night, it's clear that she does lack the much needed skills and nuance.  She's an attack dog.  She's the cute and polished bad cop to McCain's bumbling and poor speaker good cop.  I am a disgruntled Hillary supporter...at least I was.  I am squarely in this for Obama now.

Well Stewart we all now know that "Miss Congeniality" is definitely a mis- nomer when referring to Palin, don't we?  Someone who goes for the throat, who initiates a vendetta against a public servant, someone who gets up in front of crowds and spews hate, someone who is a proponent of killing wolves which are vital to the eco system of Alaska, someone who views killing innocent animals as "sport" is anything but congenial.  Palin makes Kathryn Harris look like Mother Teresa!
