Dreams Do Come True
Congresswoman Mary Fallin invited citizens to attend a town hall meeting at the Warr Acres Community Center on Wednesday, August 27th, 2008. Congresswoman Mary Fallin represents the Fifth District of Oklahoma, which includes most of Oklahoma County and all of Pottawatomie and Seminole Counties.
Congresswoman Fallin currently serves on the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, the Committee on Small Business, and the Committee on Natural Resources. She is also a member of the Executive Committee of the National Republican Congressional Committee, and serves as Small Business Chair on the Republican Policy Committee and Vice Chairman of the Women's Caucus.
Nancy and I were impressed at her enthusiasm and desire to help the district she serves. We wish to support her in anyway we can. Congresswoman Fallin desires public feedback along with prioritization on subjects such as securing the safety of our roads and bridges, making healthcare more affordable, reducing gas prices, balancing the budget, fighting the global war on terror, ending illegal immigration, and strengthening our economy. Rick, I was a strong Fallin supporter until recently when she showed us all that her values can be compromised and her vote swayed by the same pork projects that all of the corrupt politicians on Capitol Hill have given into. I'm sad to say I will be voting against her in the upcoming election, as I do with any 'representative' who shows to be in it for themselves, rather than for their constituents.
