I don't know how some agents are still in business, especially in this market. I have been chasing an agent for over a week. I left several messages at the office(for some reason he hasn't heard of a cell phone yet) and got no response. You see I have a client interested in his new listing. Since the first day it came out I have been trying to see it. Finally someone at the office gets in touch with him and gets the lock-box combination for me. I show my clients and they decided to make an offer. So I spend the entire day trying to reach him to send the offer over. After a while I get tired and just send it to the office. When I speak to the secretary he tells me the agent is on vacation. So I ask him who is handing his listing he says no-one. I wonder if these poor sellers realize what an awesome agent they just hired.

Ed. That is hard to believe since everyone is looking to sell if they can get the price that they want. Oh well. You tried. Thanks for sharing. Royal..

Ed,

Check with your board of REALTORS.  If you can't get a hold of the agent or his broker for "x" amount of time then you should be able to contact the Seller directly.  Just make sure you document all of your efforts!

Good Luck!

Ed, That was me that left the last comment about checking with your local board.  I wasn't signed in so I didn't get my points!
