I just wanted to share this tour with this group because it's SOOOO pretty, but as it's not my listing I don't have enough background on it to do a full post.

This is a farm for sale in another county.  I'm working with an agent from out of state to find a nice property for his clients.

This farm looked good to me, and the listing agent sent me these photos to share.  Rather than just forward them, I made them into a nice show (ah-hem, with MY branding) and passed them on that way.

It only took a few minutes, won't take up valuable computer space for anyone it gets passed along to, and if I might say so myself, really evokes a nice feeling about this farm.  Check if for yourself and see.

Sarah... this makes me long for WV! Can you send me the photos? I want to show you some of the new features that we'll be releasing next week and I need to recreate the show on our beta server to do so. Hopefully they are large! I have plans for them.

;)

OK, here you go. We're still in beta, so some buttons won't work quite right yet, but you'll get the idea. The first thing you'll notice is the the look of the new left side buttons and the more streamlined player controls. The buttons you'll want to push are Panoramic and Video. We're wrapping your branding and all the info around a youtube video in this firs release. Just put the link to the youtube video in and voila... this video is a Clay County Courthouse home movie, but you can imagine the possibilities... and your branding stays with it. The panoramic viewer is what you think it is. The last three pano's in this show were made from the photos you sent, I just croppeed them to feel like a pano. No panoramic software needed. I'll do a post to show how to do it. Pretty simple. Anyway... here you go.

VERY COOL!!!!  This is going to be USEFUL.  I love that I can do my own video now, and host it through RES which looks more professional, doesn't fill up an in-box and brands it all for me!  I'm going to have to get a tripod now .... Just thinking to myself, sorry.  I love the panoramic shots and I'm even more impressed because I know they're just regular pictures.  But don't they look AWESOME?!

This comes out next week?  I'm going to have some playing to do!!  :oD

WOW!!!  Thank you!!!

I'm going to do some video tutorials on how to edit regular photos into panoramic shots... it's quite simple, but a video tutorial will drive it home I think. Glad you guys like it!  :)

I am just starting out as a stager.  Still just getting my business set up.  After seeing this product/service, I am not sure what I am more excited about.  Staging or promoting my business with this tool.  I can't sleep at night, thinking of all the possibilities!

Can hardly wait to get started.

Oh, thanks Sarah.  I will! I have a friend who will be listing her house soon.  She has asked me to stage her house.  So I will make a show aout her house as well.  I think it is a fabulous portfolio tool.  I will just bring my lap top to consultations to show people what I can do!  I just have to figure out how to burn a CD!  I am not computer savvy, but boy am learning!

Cheers, have a great day.

Joelle, that was just so pretty.  Your friend is lucky to have you staging her house.

It's easy to make the CDs, in fact they talk you through it on the site.  (It's less complicated than making a show, so you'll be fine.)  Sometimes I make up CDs of my shows to give away at open houses or just to leave in a house as a give-away.

As a stager, it would be great to make CDs of your shows, run by local real estate offices and leave the agents each a show in their mailboxes.  (Or talk to the broker about speaking at a sales meeting.  Be brave, you can do it!)  Make up a snazzy cover for your CDs.  I bought software at Kmart for $14 that I use for all of mine.

You'll find tons of ways to use this.  Be creatvie and grow your business!

Thanks Sarah, that is a great idea!  I will have to brave.  I have yet to even speak to a realtor yet, let alone go to their offices.   When I get brave enough, I will tell you all about it.  Thanks for your support.

Joelle, you have already spoken to a realtor -- me.  Wasn't that easy?  You have nothing to fear.  For the most part, we are very nice people.  They will likely see the benefit of working with you and will be receptive to hearing from you.  You are HELPING them to make money, they WILL like you.

Your work will speak for itself, if only you put it in front of the right people.

Figure out how to make the CDs, call one broker and ask if it's OK to put some CDs of your work in his or her agents' mailboxes.  I expect you will hear the answer "Yes."  Most brokers see that staging is either vital now or will give their clients an edge.  I would love the have the use of a good stager in my area!

And now I'm thinking you want to be really creative in your presentation of the CDs.  I'm sure you can get some great ideas about this from the other stagers, they do some really clever things!  Stand out, make them want to play that CD!  After you've done this once, do it again somewhere else.  It can take a little time to start getting calls.  Trust me though, someone is going to hang onto your CD and call you when they have a client who needs you and is open to staging.

Wow, should have just e-mailed you if I was going to go on this long!!  Sorry.  I've been getting pushy lately.  (Ask Sean in Hawaii!)  Anyway, you're going to be FINE, don't worry -- be excited!  Make those butterflies in your stomach fly in formation and take you in the direction you want to go.  (My take on a Zig Ziglar quote.)

Oh, I am excited, I really don't think I have slept much since I decided to take the pluge into this.  Yes, it seems very easy to talk with you!  I will go buy a label making program, and get started.

I really appreciate your encouragement.

What a great show. After watching that I had to look at some of your other shows----particularly love the glass company. You have a great eye-----I use to be an Art Director and then a Creative Director in my former life and I believe you could have given the artist a run for their money!

Thank you for sharing your ideas with all of us.  This is very generous of you. I am a new Real Estate Shows user and have not been able to get some of the features to work for me.  The embedding feature is what I am having problems with.  HELP!

Rochell - Thanks!  It was a great farm.  I may go back and just hike around on it myself.  :o)

Sandra - Wow!  THANK YOU!  I love the glass show, too.  If I collect anything (I don't, really) it would be their glass.  I have a few pieces and just love them.  It's a great place to go for gifts, too.

Tamara - Check out res.realestateshows.com for lots more ideas!!

Barbara - I'm sorry you're having trouble.  I tried to email you and it bounced back to me.  If you want to contact me (click that Email Me at the top right) and tell me what the problem is, I'll try to help.
