Long Island Luxury Homes ~ New on the Market ~ Week of 8/29/08

Long Island offers a wide variety of luxury homes to choose from, in both Nassau and Suffolk County. For the purposes of these updates, luxury homes are defined as those with an asking price of $1 million or more.

Luxury homes on Long Island are available in many areas, even those areas that offer lower price points. Often times, the reason that this occurs is because a home is situated on the waterfront, has a well-above average lot size or it is newer and much larger than other homes in the area. Many areas that are considered to be luxury areas will have a wide variety of homes to choose from in the $1 million and up range.

This luxury homes update features the listings that have come on the market during the past week. However, there are currently many more luxury homes on the market to choose from. This report is designed to keep luxury homebuyers and sellers informed about the market.
