                                                              risk

The future is unforeseeable for many of us. But carefull planning might give us a glimpse of what's to come.

We have to be able to forecast with some degree of accuracy what we need to do to prevent problems from occurring.

When we plan ahead, it's a good tidea to try to identify areas in your day to day financial life that might create some problems for you down the line so that you'll be prepared for them when they surface.

We've heard it said lot's of times that "prevention is the best medicine", and I agree.

Make sure that you analyze the potential for default and find the path of least resistance that can help you deal with it. Become a risk detective.

Make sure you review your situation and think of everything that could go wrong.

Place levels of risk into categories, such as low risk or high risk catagories.

Determine how you approach these categories when they manifest themselves in real situations such as insurance or mortgage matters.

With careful planning and successful risk management you'll stay in control.

Any thoughts ?

David, risk management is what it is all about!  I find myself constantly reviewing hypothetical situations and how they may impact a decision.
