Things to do this Labor Day weekend with your kids!

Are you looking for things to do with your kids this holiday weekend, besides shopping? Well here are a few places where you can take them. Some places are free and some have a minimal charge. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Splash around at Safari Isle at Markham Park, 16001 W. State Rd. 84, Sunrise. The kiddie pool with depths up to 12 feet is open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and on Sept. 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Entry to the pool $3.50 per person. Park entry is $1.50 per person. The Hippo Slide, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sept. 1. Across from the Hollywood Beach Theatre, 100 Johnson St., Hollywood. $2 per ride; $5 per 3 rides; $15 per half hour; $20 per hour; $20 per 3 hours; $40 day pass. Call 954-921-3404.

Laser Show, 9 p.m. Aug. 29-Sept. 1 at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, west parking lot, 5550 NW 40th St., Coconut Creek. Free. Call 954-977-6700.

Picnic, 1 p.m. Sept. 1 at Pompano Beach Community Park, South Pavilion, 2001 NE 10th St., Pompano Beach. Bring a dish. Call 954-815-8838.

Family Splash, 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Sept. 1. at Pine Island Park Aquatic Center, 3800 SW 92nd Ave., Davie. Free. Activities include puppet show, fingerprinting and bounce house. Call 954-797-1076.

In Los Angeles, it will stay at home avoid traffic and not overcook the burgers. Its a gorgeous weekend and maybe go down to the beach and just relax. Its great to be on the coasts of this gorgeous country
