Which Lure You Select Determines How Fantastic a Life You Get

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty 0575737

LureIn attracting people and opportunities into your real estate business or for that matter your personal life be aware of the bait you are using, the lure. Because,

WHICH LURE YOU SELECT DETERMINES HOW FANTASTIC A LIFE YOU GET.

In business, act professional, polite, respectful, courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, organized, and you know what? More often than not your clients will most of the time mirror that behavior.

Song

Think of it as a song you are putting out to the world. Whether a bird in the deep forested woods of Pennsylvania or a screech monkey in the thick Amazon, you are putting out a song each and every day with your words, your appearance, who you choose to associate with, your temperament.

Let's face it, in the world, like attracts like. If you are a jerk, your friends will be a jerks. If you have low self esteem, people will treat you like a doormat. If you are confident you will freely share ideas, the love of life, and exciting challenges and goals with other confident people.

It all depends on what lure you are using.

Is it the lure of kindness?

Is it the lure of a song about you that includes compassion and serving others?

Is it a lure about an open heart that wants to share yourself and be a good listener to others wants, needs, hopes and dreams?

Be very careful of the lure you select because it will bring either love and beauty into your life or darkness.

Couple

It is very evident in our personal lives what our lures are doing for us or to us. In a good relationship the right lures bring about great "chemistry." Things are not forced, they just flow naturally.

So look around in your business and personal life. Are you attracting into it that which you want?

The simple fix may be adjusting the bait just a little.

With the right lure we all can achieve the fantastic life we all so richly deserve.

This is one thing many people don't grasp and you've summed it up as eloquently as usual. I cringe when I hear others putting forth negative "bait", turn it around and you'll have fish fighting to jump on your hook!

Lisa: Congratulations on the 100,000!! I'll check it out.

Pat: We all have to put our thinking caps on here LOL. Thanks for your kind words.

Elizabeth: So great to have you back home again. EVERYONE has missed you tremendously. God Bless You too.

Leah: Very insightful. What we become we attract!!

Kathy: The opposites compensate for what each other doesn't have. The similarities make it last.

Valerie: In the tackle box they have many lures to choose from. Pick which is what you are trying to catch.

Karen: Yep, the law of attraction is what this is.

Teresa: It is hard to get back from vacation on a three day vacation.

Georgina: Great saying!!

Carole: Go back to the tackle box and get a new lure LOL.

Deborah: If your husband is fishing for real, that is the perfect example to keep in mind. I have no earthly idea what halibut want. A smaller fish?

Laura: Your choices are very critical. That simple point is so often overlooked.

Cathy: I believe that no coincidences too but it took awhile for me to understand that. I'm a slow learner I guess, or Doubting Thomas.

Hi Sondra: I think we have to go back on the lure review and say now why did I reel this one in? What bait was I using? It might be eye opening with the answers.

Colleen: I like that concept of positive bait. The fish are jumping in your boat!! The fish are jumping in your boat!!

Gary, This came just at the right time for me.  So many difficult situations are hitting all at once - putting my dad in a nursing home, etc.  I know the signals I've been sending out lately are not the ones I usually send out and the world responds in kind.  I'm going to work on getting my head in a better place.  I need to send out the right signals to attract not just clients, but love and friendship.  Thank you, again.

Hi Gail: I hope things get better for you in all areas of your life. Sometimes we go through rough patches but we can also sabotage ourselves by not sending out good signals. Just think about what you are sending out. Send out a good song, like a sweet bird chirping might do. Then the forest will spring back to life with beauty around you.

Gary, your comment to Gayle was so beautifully written - "Send out a good song, like a sweet bird chirping might do. Then the forest will spring back to life with beauty around you."  That is one of the nicest things I have ever read!

excellent analogy. Especially if you are a fisherman (or woman) ... using the right bait is everything

Rick: Thank you.

Lisa: I try a little poetry now and then if I can get it out of me. Thanks for your comment. I was hoping to help as I could with words.

James: The right bait is the trick.

Good morning Gary,

Your insight and wisdom never cease to stand out in your posts.  You truly are, IMHO, a very gifted writer.  And I might add a wonderful inspiration to all.  You are always using the right lure and set the hook very well too.

ok Gary... I'm closing my eyes and quieting my mind so that it becomes like a clear pool, able to reflect all that is good & beautiful & true...maybe it's the intentional bait/lure that I need for some aspects of my life... when lines just aren't good enough...

He was a fisherman, fishing... I was a wisherwoman, wishing...(I began to say, some years ago)...

thanks for spark(L)ing reflection, hope, wisdom, as always...happy Sunday!

Gary - I love this post about adjusting your bait to attract what you desire to attract! And really the only person we can change is ourselves, and being open to adjusting out lures is important.

Gary, I'm going after a few different fish, so I think I will need more than just one lure from the box.

You always write posts that really make me think. So, now ya tell me that the "twins" aren't the ones workin' for me ;)))

I am a fly fisher woman... I have learned the art of walking for miles to find the best spot, waiting until the sun is just right, casting right behind that still pool behind the rock... and walking away knowing that even if I didn't catch anything.... it was still a great day!

See you at the next fishin' hole...........

The twins are very sad.

Gary - Thank you for the kind words.  I've gotten through tough patches before and I'll get through this one, but I need to focus on the kind of vibes that I'm sending out during this period.

Very good post!  It's true, we attract those that are often very much like us.  Now, when it really comes to fishing, I'm not sure I always use the right lure but one thing never fails....worms.
