Happy 443rd Birthday

In 1565, Pedro Menendez landed in St. Augustine, Florida.

Today, America's oldest city is celebrating its 443rd birthday with an re-enactment of the truly historic landing of Pedro Menendez.

The re-enactment will take place at the Mission of Nombre de Dios and will be followed by a mass, which Menendez had on that day 443 years ago.

If you haven't been to St. Augustine, it should definitely be added to the travel itenary section of your bucket list.
