Mike Ferry's New Sales Talk Workshop.

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Crescent Moon Realty, Inc. & Land N Sea Auctions.

Mike Ferry rolled out his new workshop up in Newport Beach, California the week of August 19-22 2008. He charges $295.00 for the four days, and Mike did the first one and the room was packed with agents, and brokers, I attended and was surprised at the change in stance Mike has taken on the subject of buyers, pricing listings and how much longer we could be in a down market.

I have know Mike Ferry for many moons. and he has never really like buyers, it has always been about listings. He did a survey of his top 250 agents through out the country and when he got the numbers back ---he shared with the room the following information:

Breaking down  where their busines came from:

Center of influence 20%

Past Clients           17%

Expired Business     19%

For Sale By Owners   16%

800 infor calls            8%

Just Listed Just Sold   9%

Other (Tenants)         9%

Prospecting a good 12 hours a week. They made at least 109 contacts a week. Working at least a 60 hour week. Mike is now recommending working with buyers, taking listing for six months.

Income for the this group average the low $86,000 to 1.6 Million. If Mike does come to your area it is worth your time and effort to go see him.

I'm looking for more feedback from agents who have taken the new Sales Talk course. I'm considering signing up. I took the Mike Ferry Action Workshop a few years ago and got a lot of great information. But I was turned off by the huge amount of time spent and high pressure tactics used to convince people to sign up for the coaching (which I will not sign up for). Did they do the same thing at the Sales Talk course?

Teresa:

I enjoyed the workshop, and I have had at least two calls from other agents that are going to workshops in their area. The only thing I will say is that if you need to get your career going in the right direction --- Mike has a great workable plan and it not as expensive as other real estate coaches. No high pressure at this event. He did bring up that it up to you if you want to succeed or not is totally up to you.

The best part of the workshop is being able to hear Mike Ferry himself speak. I'm always so motivated after hearing him speak. I thought it was a great workshop.

Without a doubt seeing Mike in person is great. I was surpris to see that he was going to be doing more than just the launching of this workshop ---- I am glad that you enjoyed.

Mike's workshops are always good to attend.  Even if you don't sign up for any of his programs you still walk away motivated, and most importantly, with more insight on how to be as persuasive as him. (Because, let's be honest now...by the time his seminar's are done...even though you shouldn't even be considering it....you really, really want to sign up with him.  Dang he's good!!!!)

I just attended this workshop in Houston a few weeks ago and thought it was great! Mike didn't come to our workshop; it was David Long who led the class.  He was really good and I highly recommend this class.

I attended the Ft Lauderdale workshop and loved it. I am a brand new agent and am so glad I got involved with MFO. I am not yet in the 1 on 1 coaching but am doing the 90 day production plan and since going the Sales Talk Workshop I have gotten my 1st 3 listings within 3 weeks and my 1st 1,00,000+ listing a week ago.

To Bob Wilson at San Diego Homes:  Can't stand Mike Ferry?  Apparently, neither can his sons?  Hey Bob, are you a cheap shot artist?  On a personal level, I don't like Terrel Owens.  But if the game is on the line, guess who I throw to?  On the "sons" thing?  When most boys become men, they still love their Dad, but they simply want to make a life of their own.  Want some pop psych?  When folks make public statements about those whom they "can't stand," it's usually because they don't much like themselves.  When it comes to spot on real estate training, no one is better than Mike Ferry.
