How do you reward those who are most faithful to you?

Do you tell your clients thank you?

Are you willing to gently tell a co-worker that they missed a button or forgot to zip the zipper?

Will you take the time to call or email someone if you saw a comment on their post that would upset them?

Do you allow yourself to have a bad hair, no make up day?

Would you let your dog go swimming knowing that you have to ride in the same car with him/her for the next 12 hours?

How do you reward those who are most faithful to you?

Sondra, The dog is cute. Is it yours or just a picture? I guess in answer to some of your questions, I would see what the moment brought. I would definitely say thank you to my clients, but as far as the zipper, that is a good one. I think I would try not to notice it. LOL

Yes, Yes, I am not sure (haven't come across that yet), Oh Yeah, and Yes!

Those most faithful have my loyalty as well.  :)

Great post!

Cute dog!  (I can not pass up a post with a pooch)

I always tell people, whether I know them well or not, if they did not zip their zipper, or if they need to use a tissue.

I think of it this way.  If I had something embarrassing going on, I would hope that people would not let me be that way the whole day.

As long as you say it in a loving way, there should be no ill feelings.

Kind Regards,

Manolis

Hi Sondra, I tell people thank you ALL the time. It is just being courteous to me. Is this the picture of your famous (infamous) dog that always gets in trouble with the ripping up of paper? I have had that experience where someone called to tell me about an inappropriate comment to delete so it does happen. If we care for each other it's just a good feeling you come away with.

Hi Laura, yes that is my dog, Little Peppy.  Personally, it is embarrassing to find a friend with open button, zipper whatever....but I think it the most kind thing to do is to tell them so they are not really embarrassed by going around with openfor hours.

Ruthman....THANK YOU.  Peppy looked kind of shabby in this picture, but he was enjoying himself.

Manolis - I agree with you 100%.

Hi Sondra, actually--I didn't tell the cashier that his zipper was down. I wanted to, but felt funny about it. Normally, I do tell people when I see something out of place. :)

I have a lot of no make-up days. My hair is usually out of place until way after noon and I definetely would let my mutt go swimming before a 12-hour car ride! I'm just kinda layed back like that.

By being a friend, and friends help friends. A zipper-down cashier would get a whispered comment after paying my bill.

Being a friend means being Pleasant, Polite, Personable, Positive, and Professional, my Five Peas out of their pod where all can see them in their glorious nakedness.

Just something I learned in my years at Texas A&M University. Gig 'em, Aggies!

Sondra - good question, I guess in just little things, showing and interest, lending a hand when I can, providing a little bit extra for showing their faith in me. As for a wet dog in the car, been there, but.........

Mike, thanks for stopping by.  You are right, the little things do count.

Russel, I like your 5P's concept.  You made the cashier dilemma sound simple.

Tanya, you are welcome

Robert - thanks for stopping by.

Lindsey, I love your laid back attitude.

Deborah, I'd probably struggle with the cashier also, a friend/coworker - no problem.  Russel, made it sound simple though.

Eric, that is true that if we are at our best, others benefit.

Marc, my dog is toy poodle (a parti poodle) that is in need of a hair cut.

There are many no-makeup days in this household!  And I have been known to tell random people that their zipper is down, that they have tp on their shoe, lipstick on their teeth, etc.  I'd hope that someone would do the same and tell me.
