Welcome to the new NCAA football season!

If you are an NCAA football season, it doesn't matter if summer is ending or public school is beginning soon.  All that matters is FOOTBALL SEASON IS HERE....

In this family, I married into a GATOR FAMILY, who lived 32 miles away from Gainesville, Florida where the home of University of Florida Gators in Ocala, Florida.

Today, we went on a motorcycle ride into Maine and a few islands in Maine and New Brunswick, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.  Either way, when we got home, the first thing my "better half" did was find an internet site that had the game recorded, and of course, I jumped on ActiveRain Network. LOL

The final game today between the University of Hawaii and the University of Florida, with a score of 10 to 56,  it was a blowout for Florida.

GO GATORS!!!

Are there any other NCAA football fans out there??

I love the SEC but I am a "Gator Hater". Go Tennessee Vols!!! Big Orange! I now live and work in Texas and you hear a lot about Texas football but nothing compares to the SEC. I am going to Knoxville mid-September for the TN vs FL game. It will be the first college game ever for my two grandsons, ages 3 and 5. It is actually the 3 year old's birthday. He wants an orange birthday because his G-Pa loves orange! Are we teaching them right or what? Have a great season and let's touch base with each other after the big game!

Hey now picking on our WAC boys is nothing to brag about.  We don't have near the money to throw at our athletic departments.  On the upside Boise State stomped Idaho State today and Freshman Moore had a great first outing.

Who knows maybe another big bowl win is in store this year (that ought to get ya fired up!).

We're supporting our two daughters' college football teams-- Syracuse and University of Connecticut. What fun! But since my in-laws moved to Oak Hammock (CCRC in Gainesville), we may have to support them, too. More fun!

Another Gator hater here as well. There is not much that compares to a new football season in the SEC!

Go Dawgs!
