Agent Genius LogoI have been following and reading the Agent Genius Blog for a while. It is a great blog that you can subscribe to, full of awesome posts by awesome writers.  They focus on what is "hot in technology and what is hot is our industry."

Agent Genius recently won the Innovator Award in San Franciso at the Inman Conference. I got to meet Lani Anglin-Rosales and her husband Ben Rosales the founders of Agent Genius.

Recently, Lani started a blog on Activerain, where she posts Recaps of posts from Agent Genius.  I subscribe to AG in my feedreader, Google,  so I don't miss anything.

You can subscribe from Agent Genius Blog, or here on Activerain.  You can also follow them on Twitter.

One night months ago in November,  I was in front of my computer and I got an email from Lani, "Hey Missy, how can I help you?"  I was shocked, thrilled and blessed. I told her I had just launced my new outside blog, Ann Arbor Real Estate Talk and needed it to move up in SERP. So she said "great, I'll give you some link love".  (and she did)

There are many genius writers from Activerain, writing on this collective blog, Rich Jacobs, Maureen Francis, Marianna Wagner, Ines, Paula Henry andGinger Wilcox.  I do believe you will like it and learn a lot.

It is important to get out of the comfort here in the rain and meet new people and subscribe to other blogs to learn and grow.

Here is the last 2 of her recap posts.

Oooh, I *love* Agent Genius and just recently began to tweet with Lani and others. She introduced me to quite a few of her friends. Lani turned me on to Ubiquity, what a COOL tool.

I love AG and find it gives the "new" info that we used to get on AR when it began. It's a much more "industry professional" site and keeps us up-to-date on new trends, tools, ideas. When I start my day, it's the first blog I check.

Missy - I have subscribed to the AG through my google feed reader and I am an AG lurker.  I don't believe I have ever commented there, but I do read it fairly regularly.  Very good stuff.

Missy , the information I find here on active rain is why I became a member. My Web master does car dealerships and retail stores, but he is good, the problem with giving business to someone local is they aren't that real estate savvy. So I find more in the way of advances here. Steve

Hey Missy - thanks for the AG plug, I'm honored to be part of it and learn something every time a colleague writes a post.  As for Steve's comment above about Lurking.....nothing wrong with that at all but keep in mind that we are all regular people and really love to get your feedback and your experiences.

Agent Genius is a blog from the industry to the industry and nothing like starting good dialogue in order to learn from each other - it's a non-abrassive platform too...so don't be afraid to add your 2 cents.

Missy, I've recently started to really check out some of the other resources outside of the Rain.  Agent Genius is consistently high caliber writing about existing issues and technology, as well as breaking trends and tools.  I am also grateful for the interesting and sometimes very humorous way the writer's convey the information.  I have to say that Mariana Wagner has had me LOL more than once.  She has a gift!

Being new to Twitter, I'm kind of hesitant to follow people I don't know, but you are saying it's ok to do that.  Maybe I'll get more adventurous and start following some of the writers there.  Thanks for the info, Missy!

Missy, Lani is so cool. I love her tweets, AG and Snarky Girls. If you haven't seen her and Poppy Dinsey in SG, you have got to go check them out. Very funny on-line video show. Seriously cute commentary where they answer any question desired. Hmm... Their fans have very interesting questions (LOL). You have soooo got to go see that. I don't want to be guilty of comment spam, so I haven't posted a link. However, if you want one, I will be very happy to accommodate you. ;-)

Missy, you are WONDERFUL for introducing Agent Genius to your AR buddies, thank you so much!  What is so cool about AG is that we have so many varying types of writers from the brand new bloggers to the veteran bloggers and anyone can find *something* useful for their practice while there.  Our goal has always been simple- to make the real estate profession better and from the comments it sounds like we're doing it!

We are bleeding edge, but to be honest, we're really giving you insight into technology and wrapping it into our businesses as inspiration.  We bring it to you, and if it's of interest, you go, if not, the next post is on the way.

Thanks again, Benn

When my day has to be divided between homeschooling my daughter, cleaning the house, and keeping up with my leads, and clients, I'm lucky I have enough time to post my own blogs, let alone read and comment on others.  LOL.  I honestly don't know how some of the rest of you do it - but I admire ya!
