Athens-Oconee 11th Annual Greek Festival

Baklava, spanakopeta, gyros, pastitsio, tzatziki! Makes my mouth water.

Couple that with a little Greek music, some Greek dancing and you start feeling like Zorba! (ok, am I showing my age?)

Kalimera to all the Grecian's out there, it has been a long time since i have had some good tzatziki and baklava. Hopefully we will get a Greek festival in the SOCAL area soon, could use some restocking of my greek feta reserves to.

James - have a hard time believing that you can't find decent Greek food in SoCal! Also have a hard time believing that there is no Greek Festival there. Here is a link to So Cal Greek Festivals

Richard - the chuch is just south of Athens. Let me know if you are coming.

Mike - I do like Greek food. However, I rarely have it. The Greek Festival sound great! :)
