5 "Insider" tips on getting a home ready for the market
(1) Depersonalize - very important, safety, buyer identity, etc.

(3) Develop the senses - aroma, visual, sensual
(4) Define spaces correctly
(5) Detail - Add character without personalizing

It is very important to remove excess and unnecassary items.  But staging is more into the idea of the space than just the organization.  It is giving every type of buyer a since of belonging in their new home, not the sellers.  It is romancing the buyer in a very real way.
