Can you believe it is September already? Where did the summer go? Well, don't fret, the Northwest has allot of great events that happen all throughout the year, including the month of September.
Here are some of the events to look forward to this month: including the unveiling of the Mudgy Moose Trail and the five life-size bronze sculptures along the trail on September 13, 2008 (If you know of an event that has been missed, please let me know and I will add it)

6th Annual Kootenai River Ride 16k, 60k and 100k - Enjoy the fall view as you pedal your bike along the great Kootenai River and travel to all the Boundary County Locations. All routes are paved and full of spectacular scenery with the potential to view wildlife, waterfowl and Myrtle Creek Water Fall (10 minute walk). All paid riders will receive a deluxe collectors long sleeve tee-shirt with registration. Bike service is available in Bonners Ferry by Far North Outfitters. Healthy snacks and beverages at all stops, route map and riders bag of gifts, and at the finish you can enjoy a great potato bake feed! 7th Annual Tour de Coeur is coming to Higgens Point on the Centennial Trail (on old hwy, east of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho) - Sunday, September 7, 2008. This year's ride carries on the tradition of various rides to choose from: 1 - 33 miles on the centennial trail or head out to the surrounding hills for a challenging 33 or 66 mile ride. All routes are paved. Registration includes a long sleeve shirt and lunch after the event, massage, entertainment and MORE. This year, rider jerseys are available for purchase. There are family and group discount registration rates also.
