14 Comments on Spelling counts!
I have always thought the same thing! Here we are using a blog, and the spell checker does not recognize the word.
You are right about spelling. Grammar, too. I tend to discount blogs that have mispellings and read like a second grader wrote them.
I don't know what version that they installed into this site, but the spell checker is not up to date on words.
Mary: I agree with you. Grammar has always been a pet peeve of mine. I recently was reading the comments on a listing. There were so many mistakes, I called the agent to confirm the facts. I'm sure I have made a blunder here or there, but it is truly embarrassing to read some of our esteemed colleagues ramblings.
Rick,
Yes I do.....however I see it in other emails I send as an error.
It doesn't seem like spelling counts too much here. It used to bother me a lot. Now I just accept it as the way things are.
I always think that, too. There are a bunch of Internet related words it seems that are not real according to the spell checker dictionary. Pretty bizarre indeed.
The spell checker on AR has caused me to second guess myself on more than one occasion. I agree that spelling does count. Sometimes I cannot understand the point of a post due to the grammatical errors.
Hahaha. Good and funny observation.
Kind Regards,
Manolis
Rick- It didn't take you very long. Nice post.
Hey, I thought you "Could Not Blog", you are doing it!!!!!!!
Hello Rick- I don't complain about the AR spell checker too much because if you do it stops working completely. Be Careful!!
Thanks to all who commented. It was just something I found amusing. I guess I can blog (or blob). :)
That is pretty funny Rick. I have seen it elsewhere as mispelled.
