We've got a great new feature coming out this week that I think a lot of users will be excited about. How would you like to be able to review your purchase documents, inspection reports, seller disclosures, or any other documents that need your review online without the need for any additional hardware or software? Well, starting September 5th, SureClose will enable you to do just that! Here is how the document review feature will look:
First, Identify the document that you want to review. In this case, we are going to choose to review the Purchase Agreement to fulfill the Broker's review requirement. Once you have selected your document, click on the glasses icon to view the document. (The document should be in a TIFF format)
Once the document is opened, you should select the stamp icon located on the bottom left portion of the annotation tool bar and choose the stamp option labeled as Doc Review.
When you drop the stamp on the page, it will automatically pull in the text to show "Approved by" and the User's name along with a date and time stamp.
After you have dropped your review stamp on the page, you should save your annotations by clicking the save icon and then click the review icon.
When you click on the review icon, SureClose will automatically return you to the document page of your file and it will add the pencil icon to the document placeholder to indicate that the document has been reviewed.
This feature finally gives you the ability to create a viewable review of the documents in your transactions. Keep in mind that SureClose is also automatically including these steps in the document history giving you a valuable audit trail. This is yet another big step in the right direction for SureClose and paperless real estate transactions.
