Hello folks, David Lelak here and to be honest the guest that I ran up on in an attic that I was inspecting gave me quite the start. I was down on my hands and knees and glancing at the outer edges looking for signs of leaking and everything else and much to my surprise I glanced down and just about had to clean out my pants right there on the spot. We almost had moisture damage. Right in front of me lay (what at first glance, looked like the actual thing) a 54 inch snake skin. Needless to say I was backing up as easily as possible until I got a good look at this bad boy.

And I worry about little things like spiders. The south does have it's advantages.

It is not a good feeling when you go into an attic or a crawlspace and you realize that your not alone. Bees and snakes are one thing, but I saw that skin I would want back up. I don't think I will have to worry about snakes being from New York.

David, Can't say that I have seen a snake skin in the attic before, but I have seen several in the crawl space. I agree, does give one a start...

Jack, in this case I'm not sure this one is an advantage. Some days I wonder why I'm an inspector, I really dislike things that creep and crawl, but in I go. Thanks for stopping by.

Gary, if I could have stood up where I was at, I probably would have been fast tracking it out of there, but I was on my hands and knees and I still impressed myself with how well I COULD BACKTRACK. Thanks for stopping by.
