A Tampa personal chef and herbalist who runs a business called Eternal Balance in Tampa is working on having a very eclectic, open-air market starting this October on Fridays from 10 to 2:00pm and running through April. Tiffany Ferrecchia, an organic foods and veteran of the restaurant industry has worked with Chamberlin's Market & Cafe, Whole Foods Market, Trader Joe's and other health food stores.
She was hired by the Tampa Downtown Partnership to manage the new Tampa Downtown Market.
If you live in downtown or just visiting, the market is planned to be between Franklin and Tampa Street on Madison Street. If you know where Lykes Gaslight Square is, you are there.
There will probably be 15-20 vendors(mostly local) where you can buy fresh and organic produce, ready-to-eat and take- home foods, plus other traditional farmer's market items - specialty and gourmet foods, coffees and teas, baked goods, plants and flowers, crafts, etc.
When you go, you will also experience live music, from radio station WMNF. Tampa Downtown is slowly growing to be a happening place....buy Real Estate there now before it is out of sight.
