I am one of those kind of guys you definitely want for your golfing tournament foursome. I play so bad, I am guaranteed to make everyone else look like Tiger Woods!

Whoever came up with the concept of the 'Mulligan' (do-over, gimme) clearly understood the positive impact that 2nd chances can have on a person's life, or golf swing. A mulligan is a shot 'retaken' - an opportunity to wipe the slate clean, and improve upon an errant shot.

Have you ever written a blog post that left you speechless and awestruck? Not in a twisted, egotistical way, mind you. But after creating your literary masterpiece, you were quite dumbfounded that such a well-crafted gem could have been conceived in your own mind?

And you thought to yourself, this is MY time. You could feel it in your bones. All the stars and planets came together in perfect alignment. It was YOUR time. Soon, the clouds would part, the angelic choir would descend, and the benevolent bestowment of the ever-illusive twinkling golden star would announce to the whole world,....

"This post was 'featured!"

Unfortunately, for whatever reason, the cruel and inhumane rain gods did not shine upon you that day. Your post was lost in the Dashboard Shuffle, and only garnered a handful of "Great Post!" and "Nice Job!"

Enter the Mulligan.

Here's your chance to resurrect that cherished blog post from the archives of obscurity, subject it to the fate of 2nd Chances, and hopefully gain the notoriety/kudos you know it should have received the first time!

In the comments section of this post, embed a link (opens to a new window) that directs us to your overlooked creative stroke of genius.

Everyone who submits a link, gets an automatic 200 points. Once a day for the next week, I will 'feature' an article that has been submitted for consideration.

Don't be bashful! Dust off that favored classic post, and claim Your Mulligan today!

(Sorry, Kids...but only one submission per household!)

Here is another mulligan from yesterday http://activerain.com/blogsview/678848/Can-we-please-clean that I think is a good idea for AR.

Here is one that I think would be a good practice for everyone that blogs to follow. I thought it was so important that I contacted the Society of Professional Journalists and talked with someone there.

Anyways here is that one http://activerain.com/blogsview/676043/I-heard-McCain-is

Thats all I have for now!

Thanks for taking a peek.

Rich - here are a couple I thought worthy of the resubmit but then I am kind of close to the poster so I may be just a little bit on the wrong side of the fence to judge with any degree of impartiality

Rich.... nice job with this one. I just read one that I think you featured from April of 2007.  Well, here is one that I wrote that I thought was one of the better ones that I have ever written, with 69 comments, back in May 2007, and never featured. And in my honest opinion, this post probably couldn't come at a better time in today's market...

As PROFESSIONALS, we need to RAISE the bar & educate consumers.........    thanks for the consideration... Jeff

Good job, Everyone!  We'll probably run this again in the near future. In the meantime, keep working on your writing skills, and remember that Gold Stars are nice icing on the cake, but the real reward is when potential clients find you through your blog!

Rich,  Thank you for featuring my mulligan on my experiences working out of a home office.  For the first time ever on a post I went over 100 comments.  The cool thing was it was something that was close to my heart.  I have been so blessed to work out of a home office for over 26 years.  Now as young adults my children are happy that I did also.

Still don't know if it's feature-worthy but thanks for a look at all these other primo posts above. I dusted off one of my old favorites from last December about lessons learned from a boom & bust cycle. Here it is:

My current blog post on saving energy...GREEN...saving money...  Sounds like a good idea even if you are not sure it's as bad as it is, it's the right thing to do.  THANKS for the opportunity.
