I am amazed at the value in Florida real estate today. It defies logic that buyers are not flocking to Florida to buy homes.

It's September. Maybe this will be the month.

Lenn- The good news Lenn is that our inventory levels are dropping rapidly...but we have been hit so hard by the short sales and bank owned properties. We have some agents down here in Florida that really destroyed the market by using short sales as bait and switch advertising that created a false perception of inventories and prices that we will have a hard time recovering from. I spend most of my days no educating individuals on why the bank came back at 30% above the list price on a short sale...frustrating.

Please let all of you suctomers up North know how fabulous our prices are here right now...I would love the referrals. It is a wonderful community and you are never more that 10 minutes from the Ocean.

And you can really get a great deal right now...people are fatigued by the storms already this year. Let's all hope Hanna just decides to go swimming further out in the Atlantic and not make land fall :-)

great to hear that the market is turning around in Palm Coast - there are great property opportunities to be in Jacksonville, Duval, St Johns and Clay County.
