located only 1.5 hours from Atlanta at 171 Copperhead Parkway, Blairsville Georgia (706-745-8000) is a beautifully maintained resort with great mountain views. Mingles harmoniously in the North Georgia Mountains on 40 acres running along a flowing creek.
While visiting Copperhead Lodge recently, I met a fantastic young man named Judd from Fort Lauderdale Florida. Judd is living the dream and was kind enough to share his thoughts and experiences with me. He makes frequent visits to our area and enjoys riding his bike all over North Georgia. His log cabin escape in this resort affords him a charming and peaceful place to relax and unwind. Outdoor activities and festivities are literally minutes outside his door when he chooses to enjoy the amenities this resort has to offer, such as

Hi Donna...This looks like a great place to escape too. Hey you are getting pretty hot with your Flip Video camera, are you using Mixpro or another editing program. Copperhead Lodge looks inviting!. Thanks for sharing our story about Judd.
Hi Fred: Had to go for Mixpo after all was "read" and done and I read plenty on AR. The jury is still out for the most part but it's better than anything else I've tried to use. Copperhead Lodge throws people off because they think it's just for bikers but it's not. It's a great place to check out. Thank you for your comment.
Very cool post Donna...and I love the video element you've been adding to your blogs lately. Judd seems like a great client, you sure do have a way of finding lot's of those!
Hi James: Thanks for your comment. I am having a blast with video but lots to learn and a ways to go but you would be amazed at how much I know now compared to a month ago thanks to so much helpful information found on Active Rain. Judd is not my client. I only met him while I was taping at Copperhead Lodge and he came riding up on his bike so I was thrilled when he was willing to be taped. He has a beautiful cabin there and if you haven't been to this resort, it really is a nice surprise. If ever Judd would like to become a client of mine, I will certainly be delighted.
Jeff: Good to hear from you. I am sold on this resort. I may not be a biker but I do get a kick out of those great people who are.
Carole: Bikers are great. There are so many that ride for charity and other great causes in our mountains and I've met some really great people. This resort will really surprise you and there are so many that don't realize it's not just for bikers. What fun to have bikers and non-bikers come together for great fun.
Donna - Wow - the Flip and Mixpo are working well for you! Lovely property in Copperhead Lodge - and Judd was a charmer - what a nice way to personalize your video.
Virginia: I'm learning a lot and Mixpo is coming along. The more I use it, the easier it gets. Copperhead Lodge is one of my favorite places and it amazes me how so many do not even know about it. It's not on video but this is one of the things Judd talked to me about. He feels it really should be promoted which is what I'm trying to do. The word bikers might give some people the wrong idea. This resort will pleasantly surprise people and the bikers that visit or have a cabin there are some of the most wonderful people you can hope to find.
