A new commuter bus service from Fort Bend County to the Texas Medical Center began service this week with no charge during the first week of operation.
Commuters can board the vehicles at either the University of Houston-Sugar Land, at 14000 University Blvd. or at the First Colony Mall AMC Theater, at 3301 Town Center Blvd.
Beginning Monday, the fare rate for travel will be $3.50 each way. $70 ticket books can be purchased with cash or check from bus drivers beginning Sept. 5. Daily tickets can be purchased with cash.
