Enough B(S)HO, here's the McCain/Palin team ready to re-UNITE the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The home of the free and the brave! Back to the basics of the Constitution and America!

"Oh say can you see, by the dawn's early light.  What so proudly we hail, at the twilights last gleaming. And the rocket's red glare, the bomb bursting in air, gave proof to the night that our flag would still be there."  Our flag represents us, US citizen's and our freedom of choice, freedom of speech, our choice of who is best to represent us as US citizens.

McCain/Palin... the team that will enable us to continue to live in America will continue to keep us safe and sound. They will not allow "inside Washington politics" to use political gain to remove our rights as Americans.

REALTOR'S®, Governor Palin is pro-tax reform, pro-reducing property taxes, she is not afraid to take on challenges as she has done in the past.  Who else would help us as Realtors® make the change to help the current market?  She's not a good-ole-boy (girl)(sex shouldn't matter) she is an individual who is there to help us as US citizens live the life we are entitled to live. (IMHO).  If change is the sermon of choice, Palin is the definition. Along with McCain, there is no other choice.

SIDEBAR:  Can't help wondering what Hillary Clinton is thinking right now...perhaps...thank goodness there is another choice?

 Rudy Giuliani...

 Supports John McCain.

"Longest Presidential campaign in history, felt longer."

"Decision to follow one path or another."

"Help make a choice...hiring someone to do a job, an important job, for the safety of your family...party affiliations blocked out...

Who am I going to hire?"

"John McCain is a true American hero"

"He has sacrificed as few do."

"America comes first"!

"Obama, the least experienced candidate in the last 100 years."

OBAMA...[YOU HAVE NO TIME FOR] "No time for on the job training'"

"We agree with Joe Biden, one time! until the flip flop, and that is one time we believe Hillary."

"Our country will be safe in the hands of McCain."

"Change versus more of the same" "Good change versus bad change." "Hope is not a strategy"!

"Off-shore oil drilling" "Drill baby drill"...

 "Keep us against terrorism..."

"McCain can face the enemy and he can win for this country."

 "If America lost, who won?"

"McCain got it right and Obama got it wrong...."

"Obama was against wire tapping until he voted for it."

"If I was Joe Biden, I'd want to get that thing in writing."

"I'd rather loose an election than a war, why b/c that's John McCain."

"John McCain said we are all Georgians"

Obama stated, "United nations security counsel could find a solution."

Advice to Obama, "NEXT TIME CALL JOHN McCAIN!"

"John McCain has chosen for the future."

"She has had more executive experience than the total Democratic group combined."

The slaughter by Rudy...I can't take it anymore...it's great.

"She has an 80% approval rating."

"Can you imagine them shaking up Washington?"

"How dare they? When do they ever ask that question?"

As Cindy McCain is holding Governor Palins newborn.

"Let's shake up Washington and move America forward!"

 Excerpts' from her speech...

 Here she is...

"He would rather loose an election than loose a war".

 "They over looked his guts."

"There's a time for politics and a time for leadership."

She talks about her family going to Irac on 9/11/08.

WOW, talk about special needs...almost brought me to tears!

 She praised her parents.

I'm listening, can't type, she is totally awesome.

She's getting a giggle out of the PTA and the Hockey mom status. Lipstick?

LOL

She's one hard cookie...

Mayor of her town...community organizer with responsibilities...

"I'm going to Washington to serve this great country."

"The right reason is to challenge the status quo."

"She will carry herself in great spirits as the VP of the US"

"We put the [Alaska] government on the side of the people."

"Half a billion dollar's in veto's" for Alaska.

"Revenue sent back to the people in Alaska."

"40 billion dollars for energy independence"

 OK, I was listening.

"The only victory Obama talks about is his own campaign."

 "What is our opinions plan?"

Sorry, I don't think I can finish this...Palin is awesome...

Obama is going to raise all taxes...including death taxes...You have to pay after your dead????

"Only one man who has fought for you."

"Upright an honorable man...he came home..."

"Has seen evil and has seen how evil has been overcome."

"John McCain has inspired with his deeds."

 ROAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND ROAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I trust her, do you?

Oh and she didn't write this speech?  I'll bet she wrote most of it.

Tony,

I'm going to read your profile. You confuse me so much. Can't you see through Obama...

History, 3 years in the Senate and only 140 working day's, 130 day's replying present.

What experience does he have vs Palin...No executive experience. Not a Governor...I mean a Senator doesn't run a state, doesn't make decisions. Represents people, no control.  With the current rediculous slur's associated towards Palin...no class at all. Look at him...Don't attack her daughter, he's the son of a white woman, at 18, no father around. He didn't even meet his own father until he was 10 year's old and for a month...Don't even go there..He makes me sick.  He has no executive experience.  The only thing about him is that he is a good orator.

That's it.

I will move out of the USA if he is elected President...and I don't think there is a chance in heck that anyone who check's him out will vote for him!  If done correctly, I see a US revolt!

Karen,

The liberals are scared of Sarah Palin for a reason.. she is exactly what Hillary was for them.. except a extremely Conservative Republican.  As for Tony... he lives in the state where Harry Reid is from, probably voted for him too.  'Nuff Said.

One more thing... no sense in moving outside of the USA if Obama is elected, but I wouldn't want to travel outside of it if America once he successfully guts the Military like the last Democrat in the Presidents office.

You are right the liberals are scared. Got the Tony thing.

True the last paragraph, didn't think of it that way.

Thank you for the perspective.

Daniel, that would be correct, I did vote for Harry Reid :)  Republicans are pro Yucaa Mountain and Democrates, Obama in particular are against building a nuclear waste facility at Yucca Mountain.  I'm sorry, I don't want a nuclear waste facility an hour and a half away from my home.  If McCain wants it, he can build it in his home state of Arizona!

It's amazing how one gives his opinion and because you don't agree you have to result to attacking the person using references such as liberals are "scared".  Come on now!

Karen, I really like Palin and what she stands for and believes in. Who cares if her daughter is pregnant? Obama was a pothead and INHALED for about 4 years (according to him) while in school. They say pot kills brain cells, maybe that's why he can't remember where he's at or how many states are in the "united states"???? He's a PUKE !!!

Tony,

I have 25 years experience in Nuclear Medicine and nuclear physics...the reason you are saying what you are is because you are uneducated about nuclear energy. Now if you want information, ask. I for one have the education and experience to enlighten you.

Back in 1978 when 3 mile Island supposedly had the "melt down" I was in college with that particular major...we monitored 40 miles away...with no fall out ( monitored readings)...so please do not challenge me with that. Nuclear Medicine is just one of my college degrees...and I have over 25 year's experience in that field...

I knew I could count on you Karen. Sarah did a WONDERFUL job tonight. She's level headed and just to think that she is not a lawyer, she was a journalism/political science major who became a MOM and started out on the PTA to be proactive on her children's public education. What mom with girls wouldn't be impressed with her and her story??? She is not someone that rode on her families name coattails to get to where she is ... If this doesn't give life to "honey you can be anything you want to be" I don't know what would. Thanks John McCain for choosing Sarah, and thanks Sarah for accepting!

You are so right with your post!

Sarah Palin is awesome.

Forget about the ignorant news posts...I don't think any of them even understood what she said.

I mean really, I don't even want to comment on the woman commenting now, voice from hell, more plastic than is real...why do they ask her to comment... (Susan Estrich), I cannot stand listening to this woman and I still cannot figure out where she is coming from.

You get minor radiation from your TV, your microwave, more from you cell phone..and from being outside in the sun.

Cardiac stress testing, Bone Scans, thyroid scans...you get more from tests than you do by hanging out at the beach...Tony...don't speak of what you don't know.

Read my son David Monsours blog...

and be aware...Nuclear Power plant's in the US are built to handle a an air attack...

Then again, those of us who specialize in Nuclear Power and Energy realize that ignorance is bliss...

Nuclear Power is the energy of our future...if you need training on it...contact me or my son.

Oh, I love challenges, so here we go!  My wife has 11 years in teaching physics and biology, so I would say I have been enlightened but since I can't speak for her, I won't.  But I will discuss what I do know.

I might not have the experience talking about nuclear waste but I sure in the hell have experience in law enforcement especially in intelligence, being on the SWAT team.  I was even part of the security detail for Vice President Cheney in 2004 when he spoke in Henderson, Nevada.  Nuclear waste will be transported by rail and trucks all across the United States and there will be a special forces team that will be responsible for protecting the cargo.  Their orders will be shoot and ask questions later if they come across any situation that could affect completeting their mission.  With a massive amount of nuclear waste being transported to Nevada, it will create ample opportunities for terrorists to intercept this waste.  This is one instance that we can't have any room for accidents or mistakes as it could affect millions of Americans, period!

It makes more sense to have the nuclear plants across the country handle their own waste and prevent the shipment of this hazardous waste across the country.  Yes I know that there are shipments of hazardous material that is shipped across the country daily but only a few require security protection.  Many cities across the country don't have the experience, training or knowledge on how to handle a hazardous material emergency response.  I would hate to be a first responder in those cities that would be responsible in responding to a situation dealing with nuclear waste.

Kathy,

You know it!  Refreshing to get away from Democratic lies...I think Obama selected Biden b/c everyone else said, "NO".  Who would want to be VP to someone who is clueless...(a good orator, that's it).  Biden so wanted to be President ( only logged 9K votes when he ran).  The only chance in heck that Biden would even be close to a candidate position is to run with Obama.

DID ANYONE EVER CONSIDER THE FACT THAT THOSE IN THE DEMOCRATIC ARENA DIDN'T WANT TO ASSOCIATE THEMSELVES WITH THE OBAMA ( I LIE) TICKET?

Who was left....Biden...end of story...

OK Tony,

Whatever,  Nuclear waste cannot be removed from anywhere unless it is recorded at background.  I don't care what your wife teaches, and thank you for being in law enforcement, however. The truth remains.  Nuclear waste has to be stored wherever it is being used until it is at background levels...that means...it cannot go out the back door without a siren and light's flashing.  As per state law, we cannot put or release anything unless it is at state law limits.

Any more questions, ask me.

Tony: My husband works for one of the biggest electrical utilies, Duke Energy and has for the last 25 years. We live only 20 minutes away from McGuire Nuclear Station (air miles is probably about 5). My husband is in and out of these plants all the time and has constant annual nuclear training (passing grade required). Right now he is down at Oconee Nuclear Station he can tell you anything you would want to know about Nuclear Power. There is so much misinformation about the subject.

I hate to break it to you, the Government doesn'talways follow the law when it comes to national security.  If you have knowledge of nuclear waste, you should know that!

FYI, nuclear waste would be transported secretly as possible, they won't be using any sirens or lights, I can assure you.

12:17am • #33

Ignorant, ouch.  Now you sound like my wife calling me confused :)  Just like I do to her, I smile and politely say, the only person confused is her/you :)

12:20am • #34
282,618 Points 13 Featured Posts Outside Blog

Tony,

Nuclear waste is NOT transported illegally.  There are so many law's and security measures in place.

I didn't say they would use sirens or lights...however, if anything is allowed out of facilities that are disposing of nuclear waste, there are "bell's and whistles" in place to avoid anything still "hot" (radioactive above the allowable) to be flagged.

You are the ignorant one, without the education needed to make an astute comment here. Maybe you should listen to your wife and me...as you obviously have no clue as to what you are talking about.  Ouch to you...not me. I'm a professional educated in Nuclear materials and waste...and you are?

12:26am • #35

I am wasting my time speaking to a nuclear engineer on a real estate social network as I am not worthy.  I should have never questioned your authority on what is legally or illegally transported across this nation without the knowledge of the citizens of this country.  I apologize for questing your experience and knowledge on this subject.  Please don't let me disturb your work any further.  Have a wonderful night :)

Tony,

I worked in the Nuclear Medicine arena for 25+ years. I have done research that has resulted in curing cancer patients. I retired 3 years ago and now I love to relax and sell real estate, even in this market.

You still do not understand the rules, ramifications, state laws, and governing agencies who monitor nuclear radiation. I lived most of my adult life helping to move nuclear radiation, nuclear medicine, and nuclear energy forward...you just picked the wrong person to try and bully...

Karen- Politicians lie, numbers don't.... http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080903/ap_on_el_pr/cvn_palin_earmarks

As far as her comment about the difference between hockey moms and pit bulls being lipstick... Just another ignorant politician. Unless she means pit bulls are nice, beautiful, friendly, loyal, loving, and caring. And for the record while I don't put lipstick on Chloey (my pit boxer mix) we have painted her nails on several occasions. :-P

As for Tony.... While I agree with you (Karen) and your knowledge of nuclear stuff... I do have to admit state laws and governing agencies don't mean a damn thing when the federal government comes in and says do this and don't ask questions just do it and do it now. Highly doubt the Fed's are going to fine themselves, and we all know our government isn't exactly the safest when it comes to anything lol

Chris, here is an important issue that lots of people miss with the earmark issue in Alaska.  The federal government owns 65% of the land.  Add on top of that the land the federal government "gave" to the state as well as the Native American Reservations and all that is left is a tax base that is less than 1% of the state land mass.  If any state in the lower 48 had 2/3 of the state's land mass owned by the federal government and over 90% of it undevelopable , they would need to survive on federal assistance as well. Take our state of Michigan... subtract earmarks and federal assistance from our economy right now and I don't even want to think what situation we'd be in.

I don't know who to attribute the saying to but there are 3 types of lies: Lies, damn lies, and statistics.  Politicians and reporters have mastered all 3.  As for the numbers I used.  Check them here

One last thought on Alaska Earmarks... how long does it take to wean a child from his/her's mother's milk?  Palin set the state of Alaska on the right track.

Daniel,

While I know what you meant by your comment...I nursed all 3 of my children...one was happy for 6 weeks, one was happy 14 months, and the last one was happy 7 months. It's the best thing for a child.

Raising children certainly hasn't usurped her ability to be the Governor, she has a great support system - her husband and children and family.
