Randy told me I should keep putting pictures of my pooch up here (I know he was joking) because everyone likes dogs and babies. (Well, my kid's won't give me grandchildren yet so I had to go out and get a dog)
What does this have to do with real estate? Probably not a thing. But I talk about other things besides real estate and blogging anyway.
My husband and I originally wanted a pug when we decided to buy a small townhouse with a fenced yard solely for the purpose of getting a dog.
Two years ago we went "searching" from pet stores to the Humane Society and then resorted to going to breakfast at our local "Zippy's" in Kahala and getting the Honolulu Advertiser and the Star Bulletin so we could look in the pet sections.
We browsed and then went over what we each had circled in the classifieds. We both agreed to call the people who had an English Cocker Spaniel that was 3 mos. old. We drove to the other side of the island (Maile...pronounced Ma ee lee). When we went in the dog was on the couch and shaking and she had relieved herself right in the spot she was sitting. We practically threw the $300 at the woman and scooped up our new pooch and ran to the car!
4 mos old.
I had wrapped her up in a towel and carried her all the way to Pets Discount store in Waikele. She shook all the way there until we put her in a cart and started throwing toys, bed, food and treats in the cart.
We rescued this dog from her tormenting former family who had 4 children and a baby. It was a long road for her to trust us. Now she only trusts us and willing to bite anyone who comes near our door. (Funny, except for my kids ....who are adults....and walk right in....You think she knows they're mine? They just came back from the Navy and mainland)

Couple months ago.
She sure has brought joy into our lives and even when I do become a grandma she'll hopefully accept them as she did my kids!
Ta Da!
