haddonfield new jersey

Haddonfield, New Jersey is located in Camden County which is located in Southern New Jersey. As of the United States 2000 Census, the borough had a total population of 11,659.

Haddonfield is an unique town because of it's friendly residents, the close knit community, and because of its many special events that it holds each year. It has a an old, rustic look because of the many old homes that have been maintained throughout the years. As a resident of Haddonfield for 3 years now, I have grown to love this town and just enjoy the people and events that take place each year.

One interesting fact that is unknown is that Steven Spielberg was raised in Haddonfield, New Jersey at one point in his life. http://www.wireimage.com/Celebrities/Steven-Spielberg

Kings Highway is the main artery that runs through downtown and actually connects to several other towns. Both Cherry Hill and Haddon Heights are the two towns on either side that are connected by Kings Highway.

The picture that is seen is where most of the yearly activities take place in Haddonfield. There are events such as the townwide sidewalk sale in the summer, and the fall festival in October. The fall festival is an event where community organizations may have booths along Kings Highway and there is scarecrow-making for kids. There is also the famous Haddonfield Crafts & Fine Arts Festival, where a large variety of vendors line the main street. One of the more major events is First Night, a New Year's Eve celebration of the arts, with a variety of performances. There is also the car show. This information was taken from Wikipedia.

Haddonfield was the second municipality in New Jersey (after Cape May) to set up a historical preservation district. In keeping with the historic appearance of the borough, some candidates for commissioner give out colored ribbons to their supporters in lieu of the more common yard signs.

These are the types of homes that can be found as you drive through the heart of Haddonfield while on Kings Highway.

Overall, Haddonfield is a great location because of its school system and because of its transportation center. Hi-Speedline station that links it directly to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and other towns in Camden County. New Jersey Transit runs several bus lines through Haddonfield, most of which stop at the PATCO station.

As you can see, Haddonfield is a great town and community that offers many different varieties, keeping it a simplistic town to live in. One that can feel safe and to be able to move about the town freely during anytime from morning to late evening. It has the old style of housing in the center of town while new housing in other areas that gives someone looking for a new home different options. Just a great place to grow up in, rich in history, from the late 1700's to present time.

Jeff, that makes me want to come and visit!  I remember our sidewalk sales in the sleepy little town I came from!  We didn't have Spielberg though...

Great houses!

I have a good friend in Cherry Hill - he teaches in Philly @ Drexel - Marketing

I also have family all over those parts now... My cousin lives in Maplewood - nearby? His inlaws are in Princeton where my brother may relocate to next year

David... thanks for the compliments. Maplewood sounds familiar, I think it's in North Jersey. And a FYI... Timothy Ball was from Maplewood. He was a revolutionary war figure and a cousin of George Washington.  ;o) And if your brother relocates and needs a mortgage, I could help him out.

I'd put three bold bullet points that are hyper links something like:

Make each of them a hyper link to your site or a blog about "Haddonfield Home Loans" (if you already posted one)
