Haddonfield is an unique town because of it's friendly residents, the close knit community, and because of its many special events that it holds each year. It has a an old, rustic look because of the many old homes that have been maintained throughout the years. As a resident of Haddonfield for 3 years now, I have grown to love this town and just enjoy the people and events that take place each year.

The picture that is seen is where most of the yearly activities take place in Haddonfield. There are events such as the townwide sidewalk sale in the summer, and the fall festival in October. The fall festival is an event where community organizations may have booths along Kings Highway and there is scarecrow-making for kids. There is also the famous Haddonfield Crafts & Fine Arts Festival, where a large variety of vendors line the main street. One of the more major events is First Night, a New Year's Eve celebration of the arts, with a variety of performances. There is also the car show. This information was taken from Wikipedia.

Haddonfield was the second municipality in New Jersey (after Cape May) to set up a historical preservation district. In keeping with the historic appearance of the borough, some candidates for commissioner give out colored ribbons to their supporters in lieu of the more common yard signs.
These are the types of homes that can be found as you drive through the heart of Haddonfield while on Kings Highway.

Overall, Haddonfield is a great location because of its school system and because of its transportation center. Hi-Speedline station that links it directly to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and other towns in Camden County. One that can feel safe and to be able to move about the town freely during anytime from morning to late evening. It has the old style of housing in the center of town while new housing in other areas that gives someone looking for a new home different options.
