What cool exteriors these have! It is like a little town. A lot of flavor.

Really great facades - talk about character!  I would love to hear the concept behind the architecture.

Mariana - I have many more photos and content to add to this, as well as an a separate post giving an overview on Inspirada. Should be up sometime this week.

Ines - KB Home calls these elevations Tuscan (on each end) and Spanish Colonial (in the center). Look for more photos and a whole series of posts on Inspirada later this week.

John - they are definitely Mediterranean inspired and they are all different, we have similar projects on the canals off the coast of Venezuela in South America - they have a "Venice" look to them.  Thanks for explaining.

Having viewed the various offerings at Inspirada, the buyers that I accompanied noted that the parking and garage access is consistently extremely poor, one cannot own more than two cars and while the elevations are interesting, they do not distract from the stifling lack of personal exterior space.  One gentleman described Inspirada as "the ghetto of the future" feeling that buyers from the west/southwest will have a limited ablity to live so closely, and many of these will become rentals with all of the accompanying social problems we now see in large urban areas where this type of crowding is common.

In the current market this may be a slow seller as it is a shock to Nevadans and Californians who cherish their "space" and will not consider this as an acceptable lifestyle.  It may well be ahead of its time,  but I wish it well as it's impact on all of the builders involved is significant.
