Three proposed constitutional amendments were pulled off Florida's November ballot by the Supreme Court.  The big one is Amendment 5 which was the proposed tax swap that was quite controversial to say the least.  Amendments 7 and 9 regarding school vouchers were also removed.  The Supreme Court decisions were unanimous and final for all three amendments.

All the amendments were drafted by the Florida Taxation and Budget Reform Commission and had to do with the public school system in one way or another. Of course the Florida School Board Association and several teacher's unions opposed all 3 amendments, but then again they OPPOSE taxpayers and parents having ANY CHOICE WHATSOEVER when it comes to changing the status quo of Florida's wonderful government school system.  (Read into that statement whatever you would like.)
