Has Someone Already Died?

By

I am listening to those, who voice concerns with Sarah Palin's young age (at 44 still young?) and inexperience, and that if somethhing happens to McCain due to his age, she would become the President, and this scares a lot of people.

I am looking at young (sort of) presidential candidate Barak Obama with also very questionable experience.

So, if she becomes a Vice President, and if McCain dies, she would then become an inexperienced president. Well, if Barak Obama is going to become an inexperienced President, does it mean that someone has already died?FunCoast Realty

Maybe they figure that John McCain has a greater chance of dying while in office than Obama has of getting elected???

Jon - I like the way you think.  We can only hope that Ms Palin is as gutsy and right thinking (no pun intended) as she seems to be.

Since no one has died then Obama shouldn't be elected - follows same train of thought.

Interesting correlation.  honestly, I don't like either candidate for Pres, and while I don't like McCain, I do commend his choice.  It would be hard to disagree with her lack of experience (or Obama's for that matter), but it makes for an interesting choice of those that would have wanted to keep it a 'white' 'mans' only group of presidents and VP's, now have to chose either their first black man for president or first VP woman (and who knows maybe some day could become president.)  Either way, it will be a first no matter what the outcome.  And McCain guaranteed that with his choice. One of the few, very few things I like about him.

Hugh -I guess this logic is somewhat funny no matter what party affiliation is there. I think it is simply fascinating to see how every word, every tag line can backfire. And no logic is not really surprising.

Hope you are doing OK, at least I wish you the best, and thanks for visiting

Nicholas - what's wrong with you database? Got a computer crash? Where did all your liberal friends go?

Anyway, I am glad you liked it, even if you do not send it to your liberal friends.

Jack Gilleland - I guess, from the logical point of view, you should be correct. I guess you are, anyway. Thanks for the interesting comment

Ron - though I agree with you analysis, it is sad that we have to do it. As you, I am not imressed by any of the candidates. I must admit that I have way more respect to McCain as a pesron, as I did not know him so well before, but it is still my problem that we have a great country and good candidates, not great.

It is still a bit of mismatch for me.

It is a good question... if she's not qualified to be a heartbeat away, he's sure as the devil not qualified to sit in the big chair.  No doubt millions of other folks are thinking the same thing.

Jon - ypu've been here long enough to understand that criticisms only apply to the "other" party, regardless of which side is do the criticizing. But it is a good question.

Jesse - Am I the one to argue with you? Of course not. You know the governor of Alaska Sarah Palin better than all of us here.

Mike - I think the parties do not hear and do not want to hear each other. It is now funny because of the way it all came together, that no matter what one side says, the other can use it against them.

It does not look like logic is used in chosing. i guess it is across the board.

But I found it funny to see how the same thing played so differently. Obama is campaigning for 18 months, and the public already thinks of him as of experienced... what?
