KEEPING UP WITH TECHNOLOGY

By
Real Estate Agent with ERA TEAM IV HOMES

I don't know about you, but I'm have trouble keeping up. It is like a freight train headed for me. I watch in total awe that the "stuff" others can do.

I decided to take matters into my own hands and knowing that it is critical to keep up: I went to the book store and purchased INTERNET FOR DUMMIES. These Dummy books are meant for Dummies and were to explain things for us non-techies. After being totally confused with the Dummie book, I went back to the store to see if they had a Dummy Book, to help me understsand the Dummy book. That book has not been published yet.

Oh Well! I'll just the buy the CD advertised on TV. Hopefully, someone will help me install it.

If this doesn't work, I'll head up to the elementary school and hire a 1st grader as my assistant.

I will keep you posted.

Keep it simple.. For me:

Laptop/Tablet & Treo

Try not to spread everything you do around too much

You'll lose hair.

Only use the programs that work for you... Update them from time to time.

That's it.

Janice,

I think most if not all of us feel overwhelmed with technology from time to time.  Although I consider myself tech saavy, I still feel like there is so much to learn.  I guess we just need to take little steps each day.

Janice, sounds like an opportunity! You could write a new book and make a million. :)

LOL...a first grader...very true though.  Remember, baby steps.  You can do it just don't try to learn it all in one day.  Best of luck

Hi Mark, maybe we could write the book together. I need someone that is tech savy.

Hi Paul,  THANKS for the input. I am very impatient. I Need to figure this out in one day. I know you are correct when you say take baby steps.
