Wilson County Hazardous Waste Collection
On September 20, 2008, Wilson County will have a Hazardous Waste Collection Event from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ward AG Center for HOUSEHOLDS ONLY!!
The following is a list of some items that will be accepted (please call the numbers below if you have a question about an item not listed): 
- Automative fluids
- Old cleaners
- Old paint
- Pesticides
- Fuels
- Electronics
- TVs
- Computers
- Monitors
These items SHOULD NOT BE thrown away in the garbage due to their flammablilty, toxicity and corrosivness.
Please note that they will NOT accept medical wastes, explosives, radioactive materials or commerical waste.
If you have any questions regarding an item you would like to dispose of, please contact Wilson County Solid Waste at 449-6684 or call the Landfill at 444-8360.
