Louis Cammarosano at the Home Gain Blog just posted this on Active Rain. The Home Gain Blog is another great site I visit for interesting real estate reading--and for which I sometimes write.

The issue of tightening real estate licensing is critical. Far too many untrained licensees (along with equally foolish folk on Wall Street) have done far too much damage to American homeowners and the real estate market.

HomeGain Guest Blogger Roberta Murphy thinks so. In her blog post "Weasels Guarding the Chicken Coop" Roberta complains of the former lenders, many of whom helped caused the current housing crisis are now real estate "professionals"

I'm not sure that tighter licensing would actually do any good.  Most of the fraud that occurs...and problems that arise are not from lack of knowledge - but from someone chasing dollars.  No amount of training will cure that.

I agree with Bo!  It isn't the lack of training that brought the housing market to the place it is.  It was the greed factor, and willingness by some, to look the other way rather than drawing a line in the sand on unethical transactions.

Roberta, I must go over and read your article at Home Gain blog. Sounds like there are more idiots out there pretending they are real estate professionals...loosely written term.

Good evening. It's important to begin a search on a full stomach. I am from Nauru and also now am reading in English, tell me right I wrote the following sentence: "Cash advance loans provide people some extra short term cash in between paychecks without having to lay themselves open to revolving debt." With best wishes 8-), Brie.
