A dozen calls and no takers

A few weeks ago I placed a challenge out to all the Realtors in WA. During the following week, I got over a dozen calls from Realtors but not one taker. Each of these Realtors had told me that this idea was a great one and they were certain we could make some sales.

OK I thought, great lets get started. Well, I guss it was not that easy. Of the dozen or so that called me, not a one of them wanted to make a commitment.

The way I look at it, with a friendly competition the worst that could happen is we all get some business. We may not win the competition. We may not loose. But one thing was certain, if we worked together, we would increase business. That seemed to be something we all agreed on.

Where did I go wrong? What happened?

So my proposition again is this:

If any Realtor wants to have a friendly competition with another Realtor  (they team up with who ever they like) (mortgage loan officers) and one with myself, within 60 days lets see who can close the most home sales. Its a pretty simple proposal. You and I, against the other guy(or girl) and that person's loan officer.

A team working together will most certainly be more productive than a 1 person "team" -

The details of the competition are negotiable. The goal is the same. Sell homes.

As I have said before, I also will bring to the table 20 new construction homes to sell (primarily for investors) in a master planned community with over 120 homes total and 4 models open at this time.

These homes will come at a lower price than others in the area due to my working relationship with the builder and the cost savings to him since I do my work for the loans, not a paycheck from him.

Win Win for us and for him.

As always, I welcome the calls -
