Ok admit it, if you're like me you eat, sleep, and breathe real estate 24/7. Even during our "downtime" (what is that?) we watch real estate on TV! Well, we have an idea for you that even HGTV would love!

An Insider's Perspective on Prepping Your Cary Home

Recently, one of our Cary Real Estate staff members, Jennifer Grinter, decided to prepare her home to list it on the Cary real estate market. During one of our LG Real Estate staff meetings, we gave this news a good mulling over and asked how could this experience bring value and benefit to our past clients, current clients and those who will become an LG Real Estate client in the future. As if we all had a "simultaneous epiphany", we collectively shouted - BLOG ABOUT IT IN OUR CARY AREA REAL ESTATE BLOG!

What a Great Idea!

We all agreed this would be an excellent opportunity to share useful, real-world home preparation information from an insider's perspective! Obviously, Jennifer had to be the one to post about her personal experiences of getting her Cary home ready for the market. With that said, over the next several weeks Jennifer will be "journaling" her "Cary homework". It will provide our readers a unique "first-hand" perspective on the many task that lie ahead in preparation for marketing Jennifer's Cary area home. That's a great idea. I am in the process of selling my home too. I will follow this blog to see what hints I can gleen from it. it seems like too ambitious a project for me to do myself.

Lenda - What a great idea! I'll be sure to use your blog as an example for our Blogging Boot Camp students during our call this week. What a terrific way to use your blog to provide excellent information on getting a home ready to sell from a very unique perspective.

Sounds like a great idea. I am sure that it can help other clients and potential clients determine what they will need to do to prepare their home for sale, from a real world perspective. I really like the idea.

Good idea -- one thing you can do to is to use the single property domains like listingproducer.com or listingdomains.com and blog specifically on the property your looking at -- agents can blog their opinions that will help the listing agent work with the seller on issues that need to be addressed like price or condition of the home.
