Club Chaos Eye Candy: Welcome to a Parkway Village Tour of Homes (Vol 6)

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Tann Starr & Associates, Inc.

Today's turtle run is also going to be a future Mixpo jammy dedicated to my Club Chaos family members and most excellent blogging buddies Josef Katz, Paul Slaybaugh, Melody Botting, Deborah Burroughs, Lisa Friedman and Kristin Moran.

Josef is the Vice President, Marketing for Trump University. In this role, Mr. Katz is responsible for creating the marketing vision and strategy that drives the University's growth. With a focus on testing and data analytics, Mr. Katz brings methodology and accountability to Trump University's marketing programs and has played a major role in the development of these programs. If you have not read his blog, please click on the link above and it will take you to some very interesting reading.

Paul has a remarkable way with words and I am a huge Slaybaugh fan. If you haven't read his blog, you are truly missing out on some outstanding prose. There is an excellent AR E-book for members only in progress. Those blog chapters are a must read.

What can I say about the incomparable Melody Botting? I know - I wanna be a Mel Minnie Me Realtor! Seriously! Kudos and congrats to Mel on new business venture. I hope to follow in her footsteps one day soon. Lisa Friedman, Deborah Burroughs and Kristin Moran are voices you do not want to miss. In "Wait, can you run that by me again..." Kristin touches upon the subject of real estate fraud. That one certainly got my dander up. I highly recommend that you subscribe and bookmark all six of these blogs. You will not be disappointed in their perspectives. From veteran to newbie blogger, they all have something valuable to say and share. I am particularly fond of eye candy, so make sure you check out the sunset on Deb's latest volcano series here.

Parkway Village, Queens County, New York is a very lovely area. It was originally constructed during the 1940s to house diplomats and employees assigned to the United Nations. This approximately 34 acre spread is located within the confines of Main Street, Union Turnpike, Parsons Blvd and the service road of the Grand Central Parkway. Depending upon where you are standing in Parkway Village, you are either in Jamaica or Kew Garden Hills. Residents are serviced by Community School Districts 75, 28 and 26. I have several friends who live in the complex as well as a lovely 2 bedroom listing here. There are 675 Co-ops arranged in small groupings around court yards and other landscaped common areas. One garden apartment resident even planted grapes in her private backyard. It happens to be a favorite visiting spot of Noah and Stephen, especially since her fenced in backyard opens into a lovely common yard adjacent to the GCP that is huge.

Here's a little eye candy from my turtle run. Enjoy!

Wow, I was guessing they were university buildings or some old dorms or something like that.

Makes sense it was for housing the diplomats.

Cheers,

A~

Caring expertise...knowledge for you!

Great eye candy!    That Georgian style brick exterior is immediately inviting -- where I live (Pacific Northwest Coast area), houses are made of wood, and after awhile, that "west coast contemporary" style can be a little "plain".

C- You are so nice to mention me!  I really appreciate it.  As for being a minnie me Realtor, I have been beaten, bloodied, chewed up and spit out.  I wouldn't change a thing.  I would love it if you didn't have to bare the same scars.

Gorgeous pictures, Carolyn. Thank you for continuing to share your expertise along with your recommendations. I thank you humbly for the inclusion herein, and dutifully redirect readers back to the benevolent author of this blog. No need to divert your readers to other endeavors, C. They'd do well to stay right here.

Thank you, Adam. :-)

Gary, thank you for such kind words, they are very appreciated. I am blessed and so happy to have made so many great friends here while playing in the Rain. :-)

Josef, you are very welcome! I enjoy our time we spend together and love reading your blog. I hope other people take the time to discover all of you guys. With over 100K members running around, sometimes it can be a bit tricky finding people. That's one of the things I love about AR, there is always something new right around the corner if people would only take their time and look. :-)

Paddy, you're welcome. We have to plan our next get together with the little minions. They were very frisky little buggers on their visit with Kathy P today. We got some great shots and will be sharing them soon. :-)

Deb, you are very welcome. I'm glad folks are sharing the comment love (LOL). That's a beautiful thing! I adore your blog and hope more people discover it. :-)

Kristin, too funny! I can be sour, you know. Seriously! I actually have a b-switch (LOL). I do like your writing. You have an honest and fun style. It's easy telling people to go read your blog. It's great! Keep 'em coming, sweetie. :-)

Thank you, Li. I am sooo addicted to eye candy and am always on the hunt for more... :-)

Cheryl J, I love working in my neighborhood. Briarwood is right next to Kew Gardens. A very lovely area, indeed. :-)

Mel, I'm with you. I would love it if we could spare the people we care about being beaten and bruised. You are a survivor and a very successful Realtor. Seeing how i have already been smacked down by the system, I definitely would love emmulate the class and poise you do. I'm sticking to the Minnie-Me bay-bay! You are good. I want to be good! So there! (LOL)  :-P

Paul, I do so love you. We have sooo got to get our kids together on a play date. That would be very interesting. We'd be blogging for days (LOL). :-)

Doreen from Afganistan, you should check out the Cleveland Institute of Electronics if you want a Spanking-A two year college that's on-line with a great reputation. You con continue for the four year degree at World College. I like Kaplan University too, but it's way more expensive. :-)
