That was my former employer, first real job out of college, started in the post closing department as a temp. I started there in '93 and spent 8 years eventually catching on as a corporate trainer flying all over the counrty training people in those offices. I still have friends in HQ in Ft Washington, PA. I've called down there and it aint pretty. We'll see how it pans out.

Wow, that is pretty sad.  I hope these 5,000 employees can find stable work elsewhere.

Dan - it is sad seeing a company you were affiliated with explode.  Hope things work out for your friends that are still there.

As an aside - 2 of my agent partners in the Rehoboth Beach and Bethany Beach offices just had buyers come in this past week with GMAC pre-approval letters.  Got one of them converted right away to Prosperity.  The other isn't really approvable without a full underwrite.
