Beautiful, isn't it? Appraised at 1.2 million dollars, in a beautiful setting and a very desirable location ... what could be wrong with this house?

At first glance it's great. It was built 3 years ago, facing east. There's a small, but lovely, mountain in the rear, a beautiful view out front, and the center is open to a large extent. It certainly looks inviting.
I went to see this house without any prior knowledge of the history. I simply went in, took my compass reading and developed the Flying Star chart, and told the prospective buyer what the house had a potential to produce. I told her it was bad for middle aged women, the man of the house would be a flirt and very bossy, there would be money troubles and sickness.
She said it had been built by a single man, who married and divorced, got a live-in girlfriend, broke up with her, moved out of the house and put it up for sale. All this in 3 years. Money troubles were included, but she didn't know about any health issues.
This house will be causing trouble for the next 34 years unless someone does some serious remodeling. People who live here will have trouble with relationships, money and health. Why? The direction it faces isn't the problem by itself. But, when it's combined with the floorplan it makes a disaster of a chart. This house could have been arranged to take advantage of the good energy, instead it spreads around the nastiest, most destructive energies, making it one of the worse I've seen.
Make sure your new house works for you and not against you. Feng Shui isn't wind chimes and red tassles. Real Feng Shui is a study of our environment and the best ways to get it working for us. Don't be fooled by people who buy a book on Feng Shui and call themselves consultants. This stuff takes years to learn properly, and hiring an expert is well worth the expense.

Monica,
It sounds quite scary, but i believe it is true. When people by a new (new or pre-owned) home, they have dreams, hopes and plans for the future. I have not, even once, had a buyer who told me: "I want a house where I will be miserable".
