With the Centennial Celebration in Wake Forest fast approaching you can imagine that things are in overdrive getting ready for the festivities.  One of the greatest ideas just became available today!

Engraved Brick Pavers are now available for purchase!  4" x 8" Brick Pavers are a great way to honor loved ones, commemorate a special event, recognize special groups such as civic groups, athletic teams, etc!  The Brick Pavers will be placed in what is tentatively called "Centennial Plaza" which will be located just outside of the new Wake Forest Town Hall that is scheduled for completion in the Fall of 2009.

Be a part of history and support the Centennial Celebration by purchasing an engraved Brick Paver for only $100.00.  What a great idea!  If you would like more information regarding the Brick Pavers you can visit this website and also download an order form.

Extraordinary ideas are the norm in My Back Yard....

Oh, Leesa you can't do this! I was just getting an APB sent out for you. You haven't posted in several days. I guess I will just save it and keep it for the next time. Just trying to keep my friends close now with all the storms that could be coming our way.

By the way, another GREAT post! I like the idea of the paver bricks. Our YMCA in Lincolnton sold those as well when they were building it several years ago. Now our area is getting ready to have our own YMCA (well in the next two years the first phase should be complete). I am hoping they will offer the same.

Teresa - Thanks so much for caring!  I am here and I am just fine - just a little tired!  Whew!  Aren't the brick pavers a great idea?  Just a cool way to support the Celebration as well as something that you can always talk about.

Vacation Guy - I will check out your link!  Thanks for stopping by and commenting - I think it is a great idea, too!

Lou - I can see there being a really big turn out for this!  You KNOW that I am getting one!

Leesa:  I've always loved the commemorativebricks and what a great way to celebrate the Centennial!  You truly ARE the Wake Forest NC expert!  You'll have to share some photos when it's completed in 2009.
