It's amazing in life. If you believe and focus on where you need be, especially when you are in a bind., it's amazing how everything aligns correctly to get you where you need to be.

My husband had minor surgery scheduled for today and I had a doctor's appointment in San Francisco. On our way down to "The Bay" yesterday, our car overheated north of Willits around 5:30pm, which is a fairly small town (issue with the coolant system). We still had 120 miles left to drive. Now we both stayed positive, at least most of the time (given the circumstances) and we were determined to get to San Francisco, because we were expected at the hospital very early the following morning.

Despite our situation we continually overcame hurdles that initially seemed impossible (especially being stranded in a fairly remote area with limited services).  But the Universe aligned for us and everything seemed to fall into place:

1) We got a hold a Tow Truck guy who towed our car to the mechanic (who was already closed).

2) All the surrounding rental car places were closed, but luckily we got a ride to Santa Rosa via a Taxi Service (that's another story all together). We waited over an hour for the taxi to pick us up and it took over an hour to get to our destination.  We just barely made it to the car rental place (where we had a car reserved for us) in Santa Rosa before it closed at 10pm.

3) When we got to the car rental place, there were no cars available. The attendant felt so sorry for us that he offered to drive us from Santa Rosa to our hotel in San Francisco and didn't charge us a dime! 

So needless to say...we kept our cool, were determined to get to SF and truly had faith that the Universe would align to get us to our destination. And wouldn't you know...we made it to our hotel just before Midnight...Whew! Grin Dave's surgery went smoothly and he's already making a speedy recovery. Plus our car has been repaired and we'll be heading home tomorrow to rest for the remainder of the weekend.

Now that's "The Law of Attraction" at work in my book.
