I currently use TopProducer and Outlook,

I had TP for long time but never really used it to the fullest extent since Tp8i came out (2008). I looking into eN but didn't find it to appealing to me.  Tp has much more to offer I think, I wanted to get some opinions from other realtors; using or looking into database service tool for realtors.

I recently find 8i to be great and since its web-base I can access it from any computer. Adding new Action Plan and Checklist for ever client helps me keep up with ever buyer, seller, listing, closing, website, marking and much more.

These Tools can get very expensive but anyone can use the basic and get a lot out of it.

Give me some feedback on any other Tool we realtor can use or any realtor are using out their.

I used TP 7 for about a month 2 years ago and hated it. Then went to sharper agent, which was more user friendly. Now I am back to TP 8i... a lot better than 7 because of the page load time being less of a wait.

I've used TP for a couple years now. Don't like the learning curve for 8i but it is getting better.

I have been a TP user for about 10 years.  I have followed them form 6I forward.  I have not figured out everything about 8I that I need .  It feels a little cryptic.  I was also thinking of trying something else.  I will be curious to see if anyone else has a better choice.  Joe

I have yet to find one that I need. Some of them are bloated and some of them  are not web-based. To me, performance first. I used to like sugarcrm but the performance is pretty retarded.

Unless you're looking for the formatted letters, brochures, etc., I think you can do just as well with Word, Excel and Publisher. As far as a contact management system, many people use Outlook and are very satisfied with it. I use ACT! and it does a very good job. However, it does not have the formatted letters, etc. Outlook and ACT! is also a whole lot less expensive.

I think TP is overrated and too expensive!  Although I do the online database option, I use a combo of Outlook and AllClients.com.  AllClients came in handy so our group can communicate more effectively.

We use Outlook and Publsher - cheap, fast and effective. Outlook fully integrates with cellular: email, calendar and contacts are automatically synchronized every hour, so we're "in touch" anywhere, anytime.  We get leads from our site via email to cellular so we can respond immediately.  We used TP years ago and found it outrageously expensive, unintegrated, and inflexible.  We took a look again a couple of years ago at the supposedly "integrated" database systems available - not much has changed - they don't fit our definition of integrated - not even close.  Best of luck with your systems!

I like to use Outlook and, also, use Brian Buffini's systems.  Between the two, my life is more on track and so is my business!

It's a Good Life!

Rummy:

Consider looking at Respond and add-in to Outlook. Outlook is not real estate specific but Respond lets you use all the functionality fo Outlook with Proeprty records, campaigns, Letters, Marketing pieces, Reposts etc. Look it up at www.seminarsandsystems.com It's hard to believe so many are using Outlook as a generic without the real estate portions that save you so much time. There are also other applications we have that address the comments of others wanting to use WORD, Excel and PowerPoint.

Good luck in your evaluations,

I am an agent in the business for 4 years - averaging about 20 closings per year.  I have no database. I tried Top Producer but it was way too confusing and too much to learn.  Outlook won't work because I need to be able to access on several different computers.  I bought ACT, but that is the same, software for specific computers.  Are there any other online database websites that are relatively easy to use?  Please help! Thanks!!

Wendy , I asked virtually the same question recently and someone suggested realtyjuggler.com .  I have subscribed.  there is a free trial and the annual cost is $99 .  It is internet based ,  so it can be accessed from anywhere without alot of extra work.  it is pretty  simple and had many of the same features as TP.  I like it.  Joe

Anyone in here use agent office?  This seems to be the favorite at my company.  Right now I'm on Outlook linked to my Smartphone.  I use Constant Contact for my email's.  I'm just getting started and trying to figure out the right system.
