Delaware Mortgage Rates started off lower than they have been in a long time. We got mortgage market friendly news in the morning with initial Jobless Claims coming out alot higher than exepted. The Mortgage Bond market experienced a nice run up in the morning but then began to sell off with some profit taking and money moving back into stocks. The stock market reversed from a big loss to a gain as bargain hunters moved into the market.
Lenders repriced for the worse today so if you didn't lock early today than your best bet is to float your mortgage loan till Monday. This is a pull back in mortgage bonds that is expected after so many days of gains. I am predicting that long term we will still see better rates.
