Abundance Starts Between Your Ears

Imagine you are a Realtor or a Stager at the top of your game. Life is good. Money is flowing in. You've purchased your brand new Hummer and have taken it out to the desert environment and are jumping the sand dunes. Surely it doesn't get much grander than this with you rewarding yourself for your level of business success. Having worked hard to get to this point in your life you are definitely experiencing "abundance." But really, Abundance is a mind set. So is scarcity.

Many think of abundance as just money or prosperity. It really is not.

ABUNDANCE STARTS BETWEEN YOUR EARS.

There are many who have lots of money but live in a state of poverty consciousness. They can pay all their bills but lack in having good friends, they lack confidence in themselves or are not competent in what they were born to do. They also may be miserable.

I was called back to the ocean recently on a visit to Florida. The ocean always amazes me, and having lived in the land locked part of the country for so long I can see why many like the coasts.

There is something of the infinite about the ocean. Focus on those waters and you can feel "endless abundance."

This is what we all need to mentally, emotionally, spiritually and perhaps even physically connect with in our lives.

The power for all that you can be lies WITHIN YOU. It is not from money you have. Some who have very little material possessions have hearts filled with love and joy. I have seen it.

Abundance is about "No Limits." The "awareness" or waking up that abundance is right there for the taking. It creates those things you want and need in your life.

Ask and you shall receive. Give and the universe will give back. Let go of lack. Let go of the words can't or that you don't deserve something. "Be" what you want to be and it will attract more abundance in that area to you. Fake it till you make it. Do something you want, do it again, and again.

Energize your life with unlimited abundance that is right there for you to connect with. Your life will be filled with growth and ever satisfying days ahead for you.

You are only as poor or as well off as you think you are. I have a freind that l;ives on less than $600 and feels she has everything she needs and wants. I know others who can't make it on $5000 a month. Now...who is the richer?

Gary - there's an old saying - 'money can't buy happiness' - we are as happy (with or without money) as we allow ourselves to be.

Gary~As always, I feel so good after reading your posts. You have such an eloquent way of saying things...Thank you for the subtle reminder that we should all be grateful for what we have and that living life is more than acquiring possessions.

I love both of these images and could be totally content in either! Thankfully I can always afford at least one of them ;-) Abundant & persistent gravity has pulled the abundance between my ears, down around my waist, so I'm working with balance, too, before I become a set of cankles. (oh i just feel a bit silly today!) Thank you for abundant blogging blessings!

Hi Gary! I loved this post about abundance being between our ears! Like Mara, the abundance of wine this summer has pulled the abundance down to my belly! I am not a fancy car type of person, so I don't need that. I have an abundance of friends and love.

Gary - abudance is indeed between your ears, as is being rich. Nonetheless, the ocean can be in your blood. I grew up in Newport, Rhode Island, surrounded by the ocean - and it has always been infinite, powerful, calming, and a source of peace. Here in Florida I enjoy the daily tides behind my house, though I sometimes miss the crashing of the waves on the rocks in Newport.

Gary...thanks for your daily dose of motivation, inspiration and more! Your blogs are always a delight to read, stretch my thinking and make me stop and ponder for a moment!

Gary, When we think of Abundance, we are speaking of "in all areas." Money alone can't buy abundance....I love the sunshine and the ocean very much and have been known to walk the beach for hours.

Gary: The ocean has a way of putting it all in perspective. You write so beautifully.

Gary, great post. Abundance is way beyond the things that we have or don't have. It is having peace of mind. Add to that the joy we provide to others and out comes abundance!

Hi Gary, always good to see another post by you. As I read the Hummer story, I thought to myself...that's usually about the time you reflect and say "I should be happy", but you aren't. There is so much more to balance, abundance, satisfaction, peace, etc...it begins with being comfortable with who you are and what you believe in. At a sales meeting recently we were asked what is our big "WHY"? And many agents talked about having this much money for college for their kids, or a summer home, etc. My big "WHY" quite honestly is to make a difference in the lives we enter. As realtors, we come into contact with so many people who need us not only to buy or sell a house but to care about them.

I spent most of the day helping a family find a rental. What is my commission on that, about $100.00 for the day. But it is okay...they were thrilled to find something and I enjoyed my time with them.

I'm not polly anna even though it may sound that way; I'm just old and have been through a couple of careers and think I've finally figured it out...for me anyway.

I just had a very similar conversation with my husband and daughters tonight. It is amazing to me how some people can never be satisfied regardless of how much they have...while others are so content with so little. I want to be content with whatever God gives me...but I want to use everything He gives me to the fullest. GBU!

My cups full....for real :) One thing is always for certain...everything flows from the inside out...and there is nothing that can replace what shines from the inside .. but we sure can fill it up with the wonderful things...like that ocean :)

We can have what we say either abundance or lack. For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. I thank you sir for another eye opening post and something I needed to be reminded of.

Gary, abundance and all of good things start in our head. We attract what we think about, or worry about. Take every thought captive, when it pops in your head that is not edifying. It is a habit but it can be done.

Gary: Sometimes changing your mindset can unlock even the monetary prosperity we seek. If we continue to see earning money as a struggle, it will certainly be one. But like you said, abundance starts between your ears.

Gary, I am starting to see the difference even though it seems pretty simple at first glance. I think the key is to BELIEVE in abundance, which is often a difficult concept to grasp.

Right on! Its interesting how so many spiritual people don't believe in abundance. This whole life is abundant and its all good!

Gary, I'm glad I got in one last post before I headed for bed. This is a fabulous one to close the night out with. I looked hard at the picture as you suggested. Even though I could not feel the wind in my hair nor the smell of the salt, it did have the calming affect of being on the beach. You are so correct in all that you say....I'm off to dream of what will be. As you said in another post, we need to keep the end in mind. Thanks for taking the time to share your motivational thoughts with everyone.
